American Rumba Basics

We have combined three videos into one. See demonstrations of the rumba basic step, slow under/arm turn, and 5th positions breaks for the leader and follower as well as with both dancers together. There is also a breakdown of a couple key points of each step. Happy dancing!

Closed position in Latin dances has no offset since the leader is not stepping past the follower as in Smooth dances (Waltz, Foxtrot etc.).

Wrong. My teacher is a championship level judge and they teach there is still offset.

Great instructional video - especially small details like stay on the ball of your feet, then ball heel, etc. As a total novice, I need details like that.

I understand your opinion. The box makes it very static looking as compared to the Cuban basic of international style.
