Your my favourite channel to watch and listen to whilst I’m out dog walking now Enquirer, thanks for another great video 👌🏻
Legend! Thanks mate
Mad, bad, and crazy times. They were great at the time, but quite shocking now when listening to it all again. Thanks.
Best book by far mate and definately dangerous times as u no more that most 🙏
@@enquirer2.0 It's only when extremely dangerous incidents explode that you then realise this isn't a game we're playing.
It’s great hearing about nightclubs in the 90’s as that was a great era and one I remember fondly from working the door at that time. Have you come across Geoff Thomson’s books? He was a hard doorman from Coventry. Watch my back a bouncers story, is a great read 👍
Hi David yes I've done quite a few on Geoff and John Anderson on my playlists I think
@@enquirer2.0 apologies, I’ve just recently subbed so trying to catch up with as many as possible 👍
Great video as always man... Haven't been on here for a while so got a nice stack of your vids to binge 👍
Welcome bck mate thanks
Liverpool nightlife was scary in the 90s.
Top quality as always my man 👏
Thanks Tony
I knew few of these involved. All tough fellas.
Imagine doctor rackpulls being there" can just see him tearing into em with bare hands
lol,yea right
💯😉😂🤣...Rackpull in his prime was a one Man wrecking Machine... He wouldn't have needed any of his Luitenants to help him out either.
Hes still a Dangerous Man to this day ! long live Hackney's finest The Legendry DR Rackpull 😁💪🏻👊🏻💥
As an American I love to hear the stories from the UK, especially about the scousers
I worked with stevie goodwins brother Mark, he was a big hard heavy handed ex boxer too who work on the doors with lenny McLean once upon a time, he had some stories and I remember this incident involving his brother being one of his stories, great to listen to, said the las Vegas doorman where like big Samoans who were huge, great video as always 👍
Thanks mate wud love to hear of sone of the stories with mclean
As always a greatt upload really enjoy ya channel your always on point ..it was so different back in the day on the door now anyone can get S.I.A badge , I've just come off an 18 month suspended for leathering 2 chumps who thought they were something cos they had a badge , don't get me wrong there's still some proper men on the circuit but too many silly boys who think thier daddy big bollocks cos they got a radio and S.I.A badge..all the best big man..💯💪👍
Thankyou mate hope Yr well
@@enquirer2.0 as well as an old grunter like me can be ..😂💪👍
Got my s.i.a badge in jail believe it or not...I never did the doors, did football for the free match n free food. Started at Mansfield then did Leeds for a while.. obviously shit pay,...the wallet's n phones found was unreal..as you said, lads I did time with went on doors, surprise suprise, some got good hidings due to thinking they were Johnny big spuds.. not all bouncers are cocks though, best ones are the lads who see the situation unfolding before it even happens and then talk people around..good job if you know what you are doing...all the best for the future mate.👏👏👍
@loganShoota I totally agree it's better to defuse a situation b4 it's get out of hand but drink plays a big roll people change from normal people in someone who want to fight everyone, like you said there are alot of proper sensible men on doors but also the numpties that havant got a dany about handling situations b4 they start they just get all heavy handed and think thier police it's not like the old days .anyway all the best fella take care doing ya job ..
Boss mate. Keep it going 👍🏻
Great channel
Enquirer 2.0,
Your videos were already excellent, but this one was a cut above. Your editing and sound mixing were great, a major step forward (I'm kinda jealous). The enhanced production values made me feel like I was there.
I can't wait for the next video. Keep 'em coming, man.
All the best.

Wow, thanks!
The fijians must have thought they were being attacked by the Hair Bear Bunch in knockoff tracksuits.
An Evil place in the early 90’s Liverpool they’d cut ya face off as soon as look at you the most feral place I’ve ever been. I was working there for months during 93 probably the most shameful thing to happen in Liverpool in its history happened while I was there. Committed by children on an infant lured from his mother and murdered. I stayed in Speke and it was a lawless war zone gangs of kids roaming the streets 24/7 and Speke belonged to them and they done as they pleased, took what they wanted. They pulled the back doors off our van with a hook tied to a ford fiesta with no doors. So that they had somewhere dry to smoke up. The landlord of the pub we stayed at just said “ They’ll kill you if you go out dair lar” and I knew he was right. It was insured so fuck it I ain’t dying for a company van. The English equivalent of Dodge City. So I can only imagine what they done to the shark crew because I ain’t met a scouser that ain’t mad as fuck

Brian Schumacher was a well known fella in Liverpool ex boxer couldnt half bang if he connected on you well respected his brother John was the same I think Brian is mentioned in that Joe Owen’s book
Heard some stories over the years about him. He certainly out madded my friends from that era.
@@johnacky yeah he was a character like in jail screws where terrified of him because he was just unpredictable with with his antics and obviously he had his reputation but he was a sound fella loved having a laugh he’s probably chilled a lot more now
Can't fight pepper spray
Was Skelly from Warrington? Went to college with a boxer called Skelly, pretty sure he did door work too. Really nice guy, never seen him lose it with anybody. I believe he was a different man at night. Feared by many.
Top production there pal.
Wasnt a fan of the background music thought 👍🏻
As always great watch
Thank you 🙏
Just bought the book for 99p on kindle 😊
Top man it's a class book
I know Joey Owens 😀
Another one of the Scouse bouncers involved in that incident Andy Palmer (now sadly deceased) was a former paratrooper n British ABA heavyweight champion.
Was he the same guy who worked that grafton years ago with ste French an bri Schumacher ?
Was he related to Eddie?
@enquirer2.0 no relation to Eddie. Google Andy Palmer Liverpool n he'll come up. It was a sad day on Merseyside for boxing when he tragically died young of cancer, he was an absolute gentleman.
@Charlie-bg5kq yes mate. His family don't like Frenchy mentioning his name on podcasts, but he always does 😒
@@ToffeeL10 yeah I think I’ve heard him mentioned before on podcasts rip to him 👍
As doormen themselves you’d think they would have known how to behave themselves! 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
Why am i hearing in my head Baby Shark do do do do do do

any content on billy griffiths from liverpool
Did a video on Billy Grimwood very tough guy , Albert got his name wrong
There are no such thing as the most "Deadly" or "Hardest" Man in the Club scene( or any other job) because there is always Someone "Deadlier" and " Harder".
I used to go ferraris what a shit hole
Been a while since I saw Joe Owens name come up anywhere. I used to follow his channel years ago despite completely disagreeing with his politics.
He's the only far right person I could agree with on how to get his politics across and, discourage people from taking it to the streets. Back when NA and Antifa groups were kicking 7 bells out of each other on the regular.
He's an interesting man, never knew he'd released a book. Might give it a look
Should tell you who's right when the state bans NA and funds Antifa
Thanks mate I was reading about dessie noonan used to run with af group .
@@enquirer2.0 yup Wrong uns stick together Dessie Nonc'em was as bad as the Irish Antifa founder Pat 5000 images Corcoran ..look him up

If there was a press helicopter above, there would have been footage, if this happened, I’ve got a 12” tool. Ps , I havnt….
Vegas is full of helicopters and pilots. For the press to have use of a helicopter there is no more unusual than them renting a van in the UK. They're so many pilots that some of them work for minimum wage to get their flight hours up.
Club in background of ya video is the 051 .Club reopened Sept23.Best nightclub in liverpool ever
The story is mad, but im jealous of the lads who went to Vegas in 1993 to see that unbelievable fight card, gerald McClellan knocked out julian Jackson on the undercard, it was a legendary fight card.

Sonny Phillips was a hard doorman but you always get them saying he weren't I remember Joe beef Joe hanerford proper old school Micky Bennet legend Micky Bennet
Your taking a chance fighting fijians they are naturally massive built ive been on a few mad nights out with them when i was in the army. they are 100% loyal and will get involved with any fight their mates are in, ive seen them tip over a military police car one night when we got in a fight with the doorman at cheeks nightclub in Aldershot they are wild. 😂
very tough manor where that club was !
Why do you all keep going on about duffy, telling you, dave woods and pete finch rakes some beating
To real lads
Pack of lies mate
Shark patrol!! How naff sounding is that?
It's as naff as someone giving themselves a nickname..
I dont understand the interest in how tough bouncers are. Where i live a bouncer is usually someone that opens doors for you and asks you politely to leave. Female bouncers are are not uncommon either.
It was a different time doormen years ago where basically like firms who would have call outs if one of there firm was having problems with anything they all was all tough fellas not like now where your getting students working the doors an stuff haha
There were taxing and getting shot
Andy Palmer... what a nice lad he was RIP
So glad you mentioned him... went to town few times with him and stuey Jackson.. Dave the butcher all top lads
Firstly, Shark Club sounds like the douchiest, 90s-est club and then calling the security team "The Shark Patrol" has left me needing to be surgically un-cringed.
It sounds like the sort of place that Will Ferrell would try and "score" in with his curtain hairstyle while dancing badly to "What is love?". I'd honestly rather be beaten into a coma than be seen patronising anywhere that calls the security "The Shark Patrol".
I bet they all wore black leather waist coats and polo necks with gold neck chains on the outside and every conversation was about how they were kicked off the football team for being "too violent". I would rather have my finger nails pulled out and be forced to play a barbed wire stringed guitar than spend an evening among the top tier Las Vegas douchestry that would have frequented the Shark Club.
Secondly, is it not also a bit predictable how a ropey English guy recounts a scrap with the yanks in which (total shocker) the "plucky Brits" came out on top? Of course they did...
zero video mate... ya can tell a story all ya want but images and video make it real. exit the pond.
Lol hope u feel better now you've got your little moan off your chest
