- We go back to the Batman Animated series, with Kevin Conroy. He fights the Joker as the world is ending. It is typical that they spend it together. Before they get erased, Kevin Conroy goes out being Batman. A fitting tribute to a legend.
We continue the events of Crisis on infinite Earths with the Justice League attacking the shadow demon. It grows an armor as it adapts to their attacks. Meanwhile, Kara has torched off Monitor after she had been brainwashed. Monitor emits a beam of energy and is lifted into the air before vanishing into a ball of light. The ship shoots off multiple energy beams that erase all of the Earths. The anti-monitor charges up one final attack before suddenly, everything disappears.

This was the end of the Crisis on Infinite Earths storyline. It is one of the best stories that we’ve ever seen. Every single hero from every single universe gathered in one place in time and worked together to save the multiverse. We saw characters that we never thought we’d see. Best of all, we watched the final performance, and a fitting tribute, to the legend that is Kevin Conroy, may he rest in peace.
The original 1984 comic book series was way better especially the death of Supergirl. She went out as a fierce warrior and flash died a tragic, but heroic death, and both of them sacrifice their lives to save the universe. It was amazing.
It feels like the DCAMU and Tomorrowverse are non-canon!
The DCAU still has Batman Beyond, so BTAS and JLU getting erased makes no sense!
Also, what's up with the new universe at the end?

DC goes crazy with the multiverse, but Marvel handles it better.

Seeing the 2001 Justice League, Batman TAS, Super Friends & 2003 Teen Titans was an emotional roller coaster for me, as those were the old shows I used to watch with my older brother before he passed away, if he was still here, he would’ve been emotional since he especially love every Batman Kevin Conroy voiced
The justice league of America the teen titans hal Jordan the green lantern the atom the flash and the hawk man from 1967 are not in the movie ? And power girl and god(the presence)are not in this movie 😢

So basically The Batman 2004 world since there's no Wonder Woman.
I'm glad they used Nightshade, one of the most underutilized Charslton Universe heroes. I also liked how they had both Supergirl and Wonder Woman sacrifice themselves in this story since they both perished in the original COIE.

The previous universes might come back someday hopefully. If a future writer adapt it from the crisis comic that brought back the multiverse.

The only question I have no is. Are we supposed to look at things like the dcau, teen titans, YJ, etc and view them as no longer existing. Or is it how in reality most of these multiverse movies are and these are self contained multiverses specific for this story

Some fans are speculating that they just made extra universes that look exactly like the fan favorite universes so they can have these cameos while not affecting those universes. Seeing that they have comics that extend the DCAU, Keaton Batman, and Reeves Superman series, I'd chalk it up as similar but slightly different universes instead of the originals.
Also, the Earth that was destroyed at 12:24 was one that had Darkseid in it in its original cartoon. If it were the same as the original, then this movie would've retconned the show to not have Darkseid, which by definition would mean that it's a similar but slightly different universe instead of the original. As such, the different art styles are references to the original shows, not the actual original shows getting destroyed.

I have to agree with you. The ending is not good and what is worse they erase the great masterpiece such as Teen Titans, Batman TAS, and Young Justice in order to save the reality. Also RIP to the late Kevin Corvey. I feel like this ending was not the best tribute for him. His final tribute should be more.

in the new DC Multiverse, Earth Prime often known as Earth 1 is sacrifice in the creation of the Multiverse. Oddly Earth Prime may be Earth 0 while Earth 1 is the Universe where the current DC Superheroes exist.
Superboy-Prime wasn't in the series. He is the best character from Crisis. This was a bad decision.

This 70s style animation is so stiff and unexciting. I cant believe their biggest story (Trilogy) is THIS BORING! Crisis is sooooo overplayed in DC , nobody even cares about the ending , we've seen it a million times. As far as animation, DC needs to come into the 21st century.

There's no point in continuing previous DC animation projects if the multiverse doesn't exist anymore. But hey, they've been doing this for a long time, it doesn't matter or make sense any more.
Eh, I like to tell the differ, since the Comic just show how these animation shows will return for sure. Plus, it be stupid not to milk these potential continuation of these shows, allowing the justification of why the Multiverse to exist, so allot of stories can be written without reconning most of the time or reset everything all the time.
