- The Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, a non-Catholic Christian community in Kerala, has two factions, the majority Orthodox and the Jacobites. The two factions have been in discord since 1970 over the church’s control. The feud came to a head when the Supreme Court ruled in 2017 that the Orthodox faction the legal mandate to administer 1,100 churches and parishes under the Malankara Church, as per the 1934 Malankara Church guidelines.

Up to the year 1972 there was only one sabha that is Malanlara syriyan Jacobite Orthodox Church.In the year a split took place in the malank Ara sabha one faction is Jacobite faction another called Orthodox faction.As per the supreme court verdict date d ,3July2017 Orthodox faction is the Malanka Sabha.

There are some key points to remember here. 1. There is no difference in faith. Absolutely no difference. 2. Supreme court has considered all aspects of this cases including faith. They did not see any difference at all. 3. Problem is only with a small percentage of people who will lose money and power but majority of the faithfuls do not have any issues. 4. Yakobaya group staging a drama now bcos court order is against them. They want to split the church.

There is difference in faith 1) orthodox don't accept supremacy of Patriarch 2) SC asked orthodox to go as per 1934 Constitution but in the Constitution it is written Patriarch is the supreme head. 3) in tubeden Catholic faction changed catholikavum slihekavum to catholikyakum sleehakyum adutha. 4) the church name was Jacobite before which is changed to orthodox and Indian orthodox and claim orthodox catholic is seated in St Thomas throne which according to SC judgement never existed.
Jacobite attended all peace talk but orthodox cheated and never attend.

There is only Puthencruz society. The Ma lankara Metropolitan is the custodian of all Malanlara churches and the Catholicose of the Orthodox church is the Malank Ara Metropolitan as per the supreme court.The Vicar is appointed by the metropolitan of the Orthodox Sabha.
The judgement gives orthodox only administrative right and not ownership. The ownership right is still with parish members.
The SC already given judgement about ladies entry in temple but due to heavy objection from hindu activists the judgement is still not executed.

അല്പമെങ്കിലും ആത്മാർത്ഥമായി ശാന്തമായി ചിന്തിക്കുക ഒരു മത അദ്ധ്യക്ഷൻമാരിലും നന്മയും സ്നേഹവും കരുതലും തലോടലും നശിച്ചു എന്ന് കരുതുന്നില്ല. നിങ്ങളുടെ നല്ല അഭിപ്രായങ്ങൾ, നല്ല ആശയങ്ങൾ, നല്ല തീരുമാനങ്ങൾ, നല്ല വഴി നടത്തൽ അതാണ് ഓരോ വിശ്വാസിയും പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നത്.
ശുഭ്ര വസ്ത്രവും താടിയും തൊപ്പിയും കിരീടവും സഭ അനുവദിച്ചു നൽകുന്നത് ഒത്തിരി പ്രത്യേകതകൾ ഉള്ളതിനാലാണ്. ഇനിയെങ്കിലും ക്രിസ്ത്യാനികൾക്ക് വേദന ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്ന നാണിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ലജ്ജിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഈ തെരുവ് യുദ്ധം അവസാനിപ്പിക്കുക.

This is not an isolated case.Rcently in African Orthodox Churches similar conflicts were there.It is requested to study the above cases by all interested parties including media and advise the parties to solve the problem. People are thinking that this is an isolated case.Here the only hurdle is a foreigner who is interested about his power only.

In 1934 India was ruled by Britain, unless verdict come from Britain court. We cannot accept 1934 agreements. Court must understand ground reality and give churches to its members .

He demands money (crores of rupees) from priests to be appointed as bishops, and he puts that money in Binamis. 6. Spiritually Antioch's Bava is supreme, but Malankara Orthodox church is independent in administration of day to day activities and appointment of bishops and priests. Patriarch Bava cannot interfere in Malankara Orthodox church administration.

The whole issue will be solved when 1934 is accepted. 1934 cannot be a tabbo because from 1958 to 1975 both groups were under the 1934.

Plus , the court had declared the verdict as a national law. Pray tell me who can circumvent it ?
The supreme court had found the the parish churches are the indivisible parts of the religiou trust that is the malankara orthodox church..this verdict is now anational law.The supreme court also found that the bylaw of this trust-the constitution of 1934 is a legally valid document. Capable of meeting all needs of the trust.nobody can escape this fact.
