Just back from Macau, too. THODW, a must-see world-class show that's absolutely amazing from beginning to end. My deepest gratitude to Jess & Mely, Chab & Kim for all their generosity.
It seems later on they allow the audiences to take a video or take a photo of the show ? I remember that when I watched this show in 2012, before the starts they tell the audiences not to take any photo or video. Yet I still tried secretly shooting a video (handycam) during the show twice and they caught me twice (also) and warn me if for the third time they caught me again, they need to kick me out 🙈. Anyway, it's really a very good show. I haven't seen Cirque Du Soleil nor Chimelong circus, but for me this show is a world class show. Thank you for the video, Sir 🙏. It brings back those good memories when I was there, enjoying very much the show.
I'm intrigued as to how it all works under the water and how deep it is its insane. Like where does the ship like appreatus go. Further down or is it on a track and moves away x
The pool is about 30ft deep and much larger than what you can see from the audience. There are 8 underwater stage lifts actuated by 4 very large hydraulic cylinders each. The central lift is guided by a scissor mechanism, the other 7 with guide rails on columns attached to the sides of the pool. The lifts can go 1m out of the water, creating a solid floor to walk on. The water drains through about 1.2 million holes cut into the surface of the lifts when they are out of the water. They go about 8m underwater (I can't recall the exact number) and while you're watching some other part of the show, a team of divers moves scenery (like the ship) on tracks below the water's surface from an off-stage area.
Same Director as O, same Set Designer as O (the boring M. Crete), same Composer as O and same Lighting Designer as O. And yet….. after the pandemic, The House of Dancing Waters closed, never to re open, and O continues. O is forever.
O wishes it was this show. Don't get me wrong, I love O, but this is far superior when it comes to a water show. I think the acrobatics in O are better than this show though

Most of these people are dancers or acrobats then they went and joined the show for example the lady who is the princess actually used to be a ballerina and joined the house of dancing water and she learned how to swim and many things there but if you watch a behind the stage video it will show you a lot about how the show works.
The Director, the Set Designer, the Composer and the Lighting Designer all use to work for Cirque du Soleil. They are the same designers who did the world famous O, in Las Vegas. Then, Cirque du Soleil turned their backs on them, thinking they could do better. Cirque hired a bunch of other would be designers and failed miserably. So these guys went their own way and did their thing. Ironically, when this show opened, the “new and improved” Cirque du Soleil opened a show just across the street. It didn’t last. It totally bombed. Zaia Just so we’re clear, and perhaps it’s a question of semantics but Dragone did not created the “acts” for Cirque du Soleil. He did direct all of their shows however, from 1985 up until 1998.

Сначала подумал, что Московский цирк, потом усомнился в размере арены и прочитал описание. Молодцы китайцы!

Where can I train to learn this art? I want a master to teach me.

The creator of this show is franco dragone he also creates the acts for cirque du soleil
