The producers hear all the elements and it gets them goin, the rappers hear some of the elements and it either turns them on or off depending on what their style is and how much they pay attention to their fans, and consumers love simplicity. If they hear too much goin on, it turns them off. So with that being said, it makes sense!
I hate simple beats
Especially the ones with 2 step each hi hats
@@wtfexza they are the hits
@@wtfexza i often use 2step hh lol. i try to get my bounce from percs instead of the hats
@@wtfexza no one was able to pull off placement materials with complex hihat patterns they way internet money did. Usually it's the simple patterns with mostly the percs and 808s that gets the beat going with good bounce.
This is called pure content 🔥🔥
Darez went silly on this 🤪❤️
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Yeah Darez was super fire. I would listen to that song on repeat.
@@DarezOfficial 100% would listen to it on repeat. Put out a full mix!
Glad to see I wasn’t the only one
Jzac went hard

Fire bro, thanks for having me 🔥🔥🙏🏻
We need DAREZ version on Spotify please
a complex beat can still sound simple and a simple beat can still sound complex - just serve the artist a unique product
Kyle beats inspired me to get off the streets. I was homeless when I started watching your videos!!! Sleeping on cardboard.
My mom and pops, friend after friend OD'ing geting hit by cars, shot, passing away, one after another, and I kind of lost my mind. Started going in and out of jail, rehabs. Almost gave up on life. You reminded me how much I missed and loved making music!!! Found your videos at the library! Your positively Is contagious!!! I Started with the fl mobile app and with my stimulus checks I bought fl studio 20 and a laptop, used to charge at the library binge watch kyle beats and Simon Servida, and go hole up and cook up at night!!. I would have never checked in the hospital or got my meds worked out! Or cared to get my life back, if it wasn't for kyle beats!! Now I got a pad and a website and I have klye beats to thank!!!!! Now I'm doing CZcams/ Cook-up videos of my own!!! Can't express my gratitude!!!
That’s a wild story man . Respect for keeping on going most people would have given up. I respect it and I hope only good things come your way 💯

@@user-cz5hi2ii5h huh? I'm confused 🤔
@@prodbymil4310 appreciate that family!!! For real
Man this is so original, Imagine if they release an EP using only those sounds
Or the longest ft track
This was a great experiment and it kind of lined up with the conclusion I have come to over the years.
At the end of the day you need to think of where you want your product to end up, both simple & complex have their places & instances.
which places and instances are you talking about
This whole vid was 🔥
when you dropping an album Matt🥺?
Man I don't make beats or rap but I found your channel and love your content. Seems to me you made 2 sick beats that everyone seems to enjoy. I voted in your poll and I voted #2.
nah rowlan one goes crazy, shit gotta be on spotify
I've been listening to Rowlan since Forgive. He's definitely underrated.

Love the Video Idea! It's not easy to find the right balance in a beat and leave some headroom for the artist. Keep up the great work
💪🔥
bro just found ur vids this morning and I been watching them for the past 3-4 hours... fire, I like to see the creativity and collaboration put into these, stay blessed bro
Simple tips like this really make all the difference for aspiring producers. Starting out, we’re all trying to find our sound and it’s exciting to throw a ton of ear candy in there and chase new techniques. Such a good tip to dial it back sometimes and not reinvent the wheel every time. 🔥
probably my favorite video of yours... they were all so good, too.
You can always give the artist a stripped down version of the beat for them to rap on, then gradually add/replace/adjust the content to enhance the song after the artist has laid the foundation for the track structure... Absolutely loved the Darez and Rowan versions!!! You can tell they put a lot of effort and really enjoyed themselves working on that beat :D!
this ^^ i self produce, i make something super simple, record vocals on it, once those are done i start adding ear candy and the other things
This is my favorite video you’ve ever put out. Loving this style of content dude!
you're a true inspiration, i attempted my own beat in Studio One after watching many of your vids, but then in this one noticed we have the same headphones
From an artist perspective, I would choose the 2nd one any day because it gives enough space for the vocals. From a producer perspective, I would choose the 1st one because it is more complex and sounds more powerful by itself. I wouldn't lay vocals over it though.
MATT WITH THE GLASSES IM WEAK 😂😂
he's got a great personality lmao
@@shanemarkson2457 damn, y’all making me smile on a Thursdeee
@@MattCorman keep doing your thing my guy! ✌🏼🦋
When im not watching this channel I’m watching Seven Hunnid on CZcams blood
Interesting video, producers definitely appreciate the extra details. Its such a challenging task to make a beat that sounds not too simple yet not too complex for an artist.
Big fan bro big fan...watching your videos for long time....but like your jazz beats more cz they hit hard and nostalgic kind of☺️☺️☺️
Awesome video Kyle.. simple beats for me are the most effective!!
Fantastic video as always, you gotta make a mashup with all those dope hooks.
This is what I call an epic battle!
Love these videos 💯✨
love your beat man and the other
'It doesn't matter dude, make what you want' ✔
One thing I find difficult sometimes is to make space for the artist. This was a great illustration of how it can be good to start stripping back your tracks a bit, give the vocal some room to shine
Bruh these are so freaking good!!!!!! Where do they post their music I NEEDDD MORE OF THEM!!!!
Watching this video makes you realise it is all about making a dope beat, simple or complex it does not matter. 💯
Excellent video!
Love the comedic timing on the ending. LMAO
@Kyle Beats , thank you for inspiring me to produce music with DAWs, thanks for spaz, I have played guitar for almost 20 years always had a passion to produce, for my own music and for others possibly in the future, keep making dope tracks man and great music like you always do, thanks for the great content, peace.
god thankyou for the early link💯
This was probably my favorite Kyle video to date, that sign off and your visible disbelief that you didn’t get a clear winner had me dead af 💀💀💀😂😂😂 dude who asked for the stems and sang to it killed that shit tho, he actually sounds like Russ which is ironic lol
Russ x Kyle beats needs to happen ASAP
Kyle is so up-there, he said "Imma send it to Russ" in the most chill way.🔥🔥🔥 Loving it bro
Rowlan, Darez & Matt came with the viiibes & JZac snapped!
At the end of the day the billboard formula will prevail
The man that requested the stems did incredibly good
Everyone did great
The first one is a damn banger!! 🔥
I'd go with 2 though... It has the smooth story telling beat 🔥
so somewhere in the middle of the two would be the sweet spot
Drop top in the night time is a perfect description for beat 2
The ending to this video got me 😂
Always Love Your Work Bro 💓😶
All the artist were fire af
Subtle flex “I’m just gonna text russ real quick” I’m just playing dawg loved the video😂
Both versions are my favourite beats of yours
MAKE MORE VIDEOS DUDE I LOVE WATCHING THESE
awesome video bro 💯 thanks for being here
Always like your videos ❤️
Simple for the artist complex for the producer lol
I learned so much random things in this video holy how
Great video man! Any plans to do another beat fixing video by chance?
All🔥🔥🔥Love your style.
This is a vibeeee 🔥🔥🔥
Bro we’re waiting full version from u!!! PLEASE!!!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 Crazy vibe!🔥🔥🔥
That guy with the baby tho. His wife is definitely hiding something from him💀💀
I try to keep my beats simple enough for an artist to easily fit their vocals on it but add in enough elements and changes so the song doesn't get boring to listen to. The most important instrument is the vocals!
The beat gets boring if you made it, it always will
@@conflictcrazy423 How much music have you actually made or listened to?
I checked out your channel. Clearly you have more experience nothing to argue
I've been on a wave where I tuck maybe 20+ percs/melodies in the background to the point where some can't even be heard, whilst the main hip-hop elements are present at higher Db. I've found that it can add a complexity to it that can satisfy acute listeners, whilst also being simple enough for surface level listeners and artists who wouldn't pick up on the subtle sounds creating harmony below the surface.
All elements are important
Give me the Spotify version already!! (also Darez version 12:44). Tired of going back to 6:30 (you're welcome 🤣)
I’d love to get in on the loop man I’d love to network and show my skills. I can turn your beats out for sureeee 💥🔥🔥
Do a version with all the rappers doing a verse each. This beat is hot 🔥
I never know what to think about these beats...
Love the content.
It all depends on the style of the artist.
love the community
Darez killed it.!!!!
This is dope!🔥
Pls put this on the collective!
“the snare was kinda fire” 😭
From an artist/producer perspective the less sounds/plugin (etc.) you can use and still make it sound good together and harmonize the better for the song overall not even just for the artist, like colors and painting for instance, the less shading and different shades of the same color the brighter the overall painting will be because the primary colors seem more highlighted and standout more
also I've been watching you for a brick and I fuck with your beats if you wanna ever collab on something just let me know
lmao I love Kyles face on the ft calls
How do i get involved in this community where I'm able to download any songs u may make with artist.... Ive only seen couple of ur videos but I'm super intrigued and pretty much like every beat I've heard u make so far.
3:06 look at his face😅. Pure joy..
They both have pros and cons. I love the basics but I love the bass in the complex beats
It depends on what kind of music you make. If you make music meant to be on it's own, like an instrumental, then more layers make sense. If it's a type beat or for an artist, then you would leave more room for vocals.
Great content man 👌👌👌💣
WE WANT FULL VERSION OF DAREZ PLEASE
So 🔥
YOOO DAREZ WENT CRAZY WITH THIS 🔥🔥🔥
15:01 the 🔑
"It doesn't matter dude, make what you want"
ps: russ picked the #1 tho..
😂
Did Russ actually reply though?? LOL
@@gifted4541 yea lmao
@@himanshuarora2k5 & Kyle jus low key shrugged it off like it was no big deal??!! LMAOO what a legend!
@@gifted4541 just 2 clicks and it's Russ
Ya know the grind
Hard to choose
This is a dope video please make this a series. It helps producers who are overthinking see how we don't really know 🤣 make what you want and reach out to people
Thank! :)
Sick work✌✌
Need Darez beat on collective 🤯🤯🤯
dope beat
wow nice video!! really
Darez style was so good on this.
A beat is human and emotional, emotions change
Fire broo 🔥🎹
I was like eh it’s all right then I heard the m too and was like I get it now
This a dope ass video idea, do this shit more FOR SURE.
Not a producer or anything but this video was just really entertaining
love seing tony stark cookin up
I still stand by my choice of beat two. Simplicity is the best IMO.
More of these vids!
Simplicity is the key 🗝️
a beat gotta be the perfect balance between complex and simple.
The simple one makes you wanna spit some deep sh*
