Please only learn it if you like it and if you are interested in learning it. I do not believe there is one “correct” accent or manner of pronunciation and I fully encourage EFL/ESL learners to expose themselves to as many varieties of English around the world to become accustomed to the beautiful variations of this world language. I focus mostly on teaching “Modern RP” (I may just say “RP” in my older videos, but to clarify, I do specifically mean “Modern RP”), however, you will hear a lovely little Yorkshire twang to my accent from time to time too. Please LOVE and BE PROUD of your accent. After all, it is part of your identity and makes you unique. 💚 #englishpronunciation #englishteacher #englishlesson

OMG - I've lived in the UK most of my life and even though I knew I was pronouncing "girl" wrong, after watching your video it made it so much easier! Thank you for taking the time to make these incredibly helpful videos on pronunciation!
This is extremely useful! :)
I like how you manage to find all the biggest problems and address them spot on!
You have no idea how helpful this is. Thank you for everything you do for us Emma and it's a great to have you to share the greatful videos and your thoughts. So thanks again .😊👍👏👏👏
Emma I love your lessons , you are one of the best teacher I found in here 💕Thank you for your work
Nicely done! I stayed in London for a year and I always wanted to find a source for a good British pronunciation. Thanks a lot.
Emma, I like your explanation of stressed schwa vowel or stressed neutral or centering vowel sound. In most of Asian or Eastern countries, there's no vowel sound like this. Thank you so much.
You are a wonderful woman to teach pronunciation sounds. Being a non-native it was a difficult task to pronounce the English sounds but you helped me to understand a lot. I'm not perfect even now in pronunciation but I got confidence that I could improve a lot and I hope gradually even I could pronounce like a native speaker. Thanks from the bottom of my heart.
Hi Emma, I've just discovered your channel, I am improving my English and I'm a huge fan of British accent! Thank you so much! :)
Thank you Emma, it was really awesome as always 💓🌷
For this situations you can use schwa, Emma demonstrates us more easily and effectively, so thank you !

I really enjoy your video lessons because not only you are outstandingly brilliant in your teaching approach, but also because you're such a sweet and candid person that engage your audience right away with your highly valuable and excellent content. Thank you very much indeed.

This is so helpful. Thank you so much.
This was the best I've seen so far. You took your time and explained it step by step, not super fast as if we all know what you're talking about and its very helpful =. Thank you
Super like. A new learning experience.
I love you due to the way you explain words.
Thanks for your lessons Emma. Your lessons are very well explained and focused on pronunciation too which I enjoy learning more and more. Love your accent and am also interested to see you speaking Portuguese if you don't mind. Well done and i am here from now on. 🙌
I've just discoveres this channel by chance, it helps me to pronounce dark L correctly that i've been struggling with. You're my angle
So amazing. Thanks Emma
Thank you so much Emma!!!
I really liked. I'm a Brazilian and I have learned English my entire life in the American accent way. Never could I find content demonstrating how it'd be in British English and that's what I'm after. It's quite weird to understand American English almost perfectly and have difficulties in international tests because most of them are done in British (if not the entire test, great part of it). Thanks
Everyday I saw your videos! I love your accent
That was a really useful video, Thank you so much, Emma. I should admit that the last sentence was a bit tricky, so I pronounced it thrice to produce the same sound as yours. I suppose the difficulty in English is that word spelling is not always the same as its pronunciation. Luckily, I've recently started learning some pronunciation tricks and tips in addition to dedicating some time to listen to English podcasts daily to tune my ears. Gladly, I can see some progress in my listening comprehension. Thanks again!
You teach so well.
He explains everything so beautifully
Thank you for posting this. I’ve got a lot of students who have problems with this sound. Thank you for posting.
Emma you're amazing!! Thank you so much fr
Thank you, lovely video!
I'm taking advantage of the quarantine to binge watch your videos, and I want to improve my pronunciation because I love the British accent
I reckon world is the most difficult word for non natives to pronounce. I listen to lots of BBC podcasts and often they have guest from other countries, and although most of them have an advanced level of English, they still struggle with 'world'.
Thank you for another great lesson!
Bianca yes! Such a common word as well. It’s kind of frustrating 😅
