Pe de Pano regularly beat Roger. If you noticed Roger liked to do the closed guard while Pe de Pano had the knee cut. Notice which way he fell and the direction Buchecha took.

I have John Danaher's Closed Guard Instructional and I've been making tons of connections with John's teachings and Roger's ability to implement the techniques in a live competitive setting. It's amazing how effective it all is. I'd very much like to see more of his videos as he developed into the air tight practitioner he is today.

O Roger nessa época ainda era um faixa preta inexperiente, recém promovido. Pé de pano por outro lado já era um faixa preta experiente e multicampeao
