You didn't see many layers (even with ur high ponytail placement) bc you brought the section DOWN (and forward) when cutting. If you redirect the hair straight UP from the ponytail (or at an angle higher than 90°) and then cut, you'd get more dramatic layers. 💜
For real? So when cutting my hair I need to hold it up to the side?

I love your curly hair, I used to trim my hair at home but didn't have good luck since on straight hair is more noticeable..
haha yes I hope it looks okay when I straighten it! I don't do that often though so as long as it looks good when its curly Im happy haha

You need to find another tutorial this one doesn’t show the proper way to comb the hair before you cut so the layering didn’t come out on this cut.
