So interesting how this haircut looks on different people. I think it looks good just a tiny bit bulky in the layers area because it does seem you have high density hair. I've done this haircut on myself and found the best round layers were actually placing the ponytails higher up so that way I get layers sitting all around rather than just towards the end and end up doing a blunt cut so it's straight across/more rounded on the bottom (I personally don't find the v shape flattering)
That's definitely fair. I bet it depends a bit on the texture too. Since my top layers are a looser pattern, it might give it a strange shape if I did too dramatic of a layering. I don't mind the V shape, but I think it works best if you're going to wear your hair down your back. Otherwise it can look scraggly when pulled up front.

Love your haircut I did this hair cut last time I cut my hair a few weeks ago only thing is I didn't do the face framing layers I just put it in ponytails and cut all my hair my hair was shoulder length now it right below my chin I like shorter hair it not in my way or make me hot in the humidity in Tunisia and I'm short so long hair just makes me look shorter you look great before and after love your videos 🤗

That's definitely fair. I go back and forth on the face framing pieces. Sometimes they drive me nuts. But sometimes I love the way they look. 😂 I live in Colorado which gets pretty cold in the winter, so I love having long hair to keep me warm 😂 but when I lived somewhere hotter, I definitely felt the need to keep it shorter. I don't mind the length now too much. Especially after starting to get used to it.
Wow, when you did that first cut on your face framing layers I was like oh my because I thought it was a lot of hair that you were cutting off and then when you cut the first pigtail I did a second oh my because I didn't realize the cut was going to be above the Hair Band lol. I'm trying to grow my hair longer and it's barely shoulder length so seeing someone cut off so much hair is probably more cringe-worthy for me but I must say when you came back after you styled it, it really did look healthier and Fuller so A+ 😊
I definitely get that. The face framing pieces weren't as bad for me, but I was having some second thoughts for sure before I cut off the tails. To be honest, as I was editing the video, I was doing the same thing. 🤣🤣 while I was watching myself cut it, I was going "oh no...." 😂😅 I was laughing at myself for the mistakes.
It really did end up being more than I wanted, which was completely my fault 😂 Especially because, like you, I've been trying to grow my hair out for a while. I just really messed up the last cut and it needed to be done... I'm very happy with the the fullness of it now and I'll make sure to keep it nice and full this time around, so hopefully there will be less cringing next time. 😅
I think it looks great! I need a cut too. Usually do the unicorn but need to go shorter because the ends are scraggly. Do you like this cut better than the unicorn cut? Tfs! Blessings!
I've always done the unicorn cut in the past. But I'm starting to lean more toward this one. I'll kind of have to see how it looks as it grows out, but I think for short to medium hair, this one works better. With shorter hair, the unicorn cut will make the ends look a little more sparse. I think it depends on what you're looking for. But I'll probably continue to do this one moving forward if that helps. 😊
Lina omg your hair is gorgeous longer or shorter, but I was omg I have cut my long hair to a pixie 2 times in my life like 30 inches I like it for a while but always needed to grow my long hair back , I missed it lol
Thank you for the compliment! I totally get that though. I tend to do the same. I cut it short and then immediately regret it 😂I definitely prefer having my hair long. Hopefully this time I can grow it out and keep it much thicker, so I don't have to do this again.

I do prefer my hair longer, and I did have some regrets for sure 😂 but I'm glad I did it. My hair feels much thicker and fuller now. I can actually believe it's high density now. 😂
