Harry & Meghan, Netflix's new documentary series focusing on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, claims to give audiences new insight into the couple's lives. Unfortunately though, it seems to be full of the same victimhood and race-baiting narrative we've already seen from them too many times to count.

Meghan got help; she had people assigned to her by Queen Elisabeth herself. Also Sophie was asked to support Meghan in every step. Meghan just refused to accept any help, she said she had Harry.
Absolutely right ... another complete and blatant lie !!
Just curious as to how you know this?
Like obviously there would've been someone to teach her that stuff but is there proof that she rejected it

It's such a lie. I didn't follow much about the British royals till recently, and even I knew it was a lie the moment I heard that Meghan was claiming that. I remember articles about who was helping her and what rules she would have to learn. American news found it interesting that an American would have to learn a very different way of life.

1.2 out of ten. I donât think you can give zero star rating.
For everyone who doesn't understand why that bit of MM aping her curtsy to the Queen was so disrespectful, just imagine the same scenario but with the BRF switched for the Japanese royal family, or that of any other Asian/African culture in which bowing is customary. Then imagine that it all happened while the monarch of said family was dying of cancer.
All I know is, if I tried to pull something like that in front of my aunties, I'd be slapped into the middle of the next decade.
And she went to college for international studies ..
@@Unbridled13 She probably studied her navel most of all.
You are right...she did this mocking of the Queen when the Queen was dying of cancer. I just realized that since you pointed it out. How horrible! I just can't believe this behavior!
@@Unbridled13this has been debunked by Northwestern university. See Paula M.
She already mocked the queen when she did that skit for her 40x40 thing with Melissa McCarthy where they pretended to drink afternoon tea and McArthy was wearing that cabbage shaped hat ( Prince Philip used to call the Queen â cabbage â )
Here's an idea: if you want to live a private life, then stop inviting cameras into your life.
Saying you cant have your cake and eat it too, is misogyny. Dontcha know? :)
Thereâs plenty of actors who are legit private. I have no idea what Christian Baleâs kids look like. I donât know their names. Because he is about his JOB and isnât prancing around calling paparazzi. His talent is enough.
Right I've been saying that since they came out with bashing Harry's family and saying it publicly
I highly doubt that boys in school were talking about a dish soap commercial. It's not exactly a topic little boys care about
The Queen acknowleged that Meghan may have difficulties adjusting and offered to have Sophie the Countess of Wessex, and Lady Susan Hussey help her, but Meghan declined the offer.
She thought she would have an easy life as a royal and did not have any interest in learning what being royalty actually means. Not just the protocals, but the fact that it is about service and duty.
Harry was cherished by the people of Britain, especially given that he was the son of Princess Diana, and her death made him more cherished, with the majority of the nation just wanting him to find happiness, and from my recollection his engagement was treated with joy, and goodwill.
We didn't suddenly become a nation who disliked Meghan because of her skin colour, but because of her attitude.
What saddens me the most is as a couple they had so much love and support behind them, and a global platform with which they could have done so much good, but they have squandered it for the life they are leading now, not seeming to understand that if they keep burning bridges they will have no way back.
She can fool some in the US into thinking that's true and even Lauren saw it as a possibility because Americans don't know how it works. The RF institution would never leave a new member in the lurch where protocol is concerned. She just didn't want to do it and didn't get why she should have to. I think that forms part of why she dragged him away. Once it finally dawned on her it really wan't another version of Hollywood where you put on a public show but 'off duty' do what you want, she wanted out. Netflix also has to decide what's what too. Keep appealing only to US audiences or remember it takes the world's money.
I could see it. she is a narcissist and thinks she was more important then the Queen
Sad thing is many people like the lady in the video here actually believe her lies. It's seriously infuriating how Meghan is getting away Scott free telling so many blatant lies. She even got away lying under oath at the court and wasn't charged with perjury. How is that even possible? How can someone be so bullet proof and untouchable?
@@kittygirl_thetortie498 she is married to Harry hate to say but that is how
She was in no way prepared by Harry for what she was actually getting into. She thought sheâd be chilling in Buckingham, not in a cottage.
Also Megan stated there was no one to help her. But didn't she fired her staff and some even left in their own because of the way she treated them. You can't have it both ways. You either need and want the help or you don't. When you don't get it because its your fault you can't blames others.

Netflix is disgusting for giving them a platform to insight hate against the British royal family. Itâs almost treason. I feel like I might switch to Disney plusâŠ
They didn't have the chance to tell their story up to this point? Then what was the Oprah interview? And the podcast? And the The Cut interview? And the Variety interview? They have constantly told their story, admittedly with an ever changing content.
Since the death of princess Diana there is a gentleman's agreement between the palace and the media. They don't hound the royals. The only people the media did hound are those that step out of line with their behaviour (for instance Fergie) and those that aren't fully royal yet (Catherine until she was married to prince William). The British press had been incredibly positive about Meghan until she started her shenanigans.
And the Funding Freebies book with Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durant, who seems to be hiding in shame now.
Living the Disney dream of millions of women
Poor girl, where can I donate?
You can donate toilet paper for all those 16 bathrooms.
Can you imagine the result if a Brit married a President of the USA - and then proceeded to mock, berate and lie about the American Constitution?
I can understand when somebody born into the royal family feels trapped, or smothered, or whatever by publicity because such person was born into it - he or she didn't choose it. Moreover, unlike most celebrities, members of the royal family are expected to not really act like celebrities - they are to do stuff like not voicing their opinions in public, not use the conspicuous benefits of wealth (see e.g. William and Kate flying commercial), and not engage in any business to increase said wealth or generate extra income that can be used for expensive personal hobbies (if I remember correctly, the Earl of Sandwich got in trouble for lending his name to a sandwich business). However, if one wants out, once can follow the example of Edward VIII and actually get out. Trying to eat one's cake and have it too by being a royal only when convenient is complete BS.
Now, Meghan, on the other hand, was never in this position. She wanted to be a celebrity, then when a celebrity, she wanted to join the royal family without taking on any of the responsibilities of being part of the royal family. People like Meghan really shouldn't get to complain about privacy because they *chose* to live in the spotlight. I also don't buy the whole "nobody taught me how to behave" line. It isn't as though the royal family is some secret society - proper etiquette is pretty well know, or at least well known enough that there are no shortage of resources to learn. Meghan even had a prospective/new sister-in-law who came from a similar socio-economic background who she could have turned to for advice, but she evidently did not do so. However, all this is simply icing on the cake; the impropriety of dissing one's in-laws publicly is not some obscure point of etiquette that only insiders or specialists should be expected to know (such as shutting to door to the House of Commons in the face of the Black Rod). If someone doesn't understand that calling the family one is marrying into racists, the problem isn't education, it is character.
I have a difficult time beliving that Harry didn't try to help her with the protocols or find someone who could. It seems more that she didn't want to do the protocols because she's American.
Megan is like: It was terrible. They made me treat the queen like she was... the Queen or something.
She had several advisors sent to help her but she refused help saying she had Harry
She had ladies in waiting who would advise her on protocol. She is lying
After Dianaâs death, the reporting laws were changed to enable more privacy, especially strict around what was allowed regarding reporting on children. Also, the hounding of Diana became bad when the scandalâs started, years after the wedding
In Finding Freedom (the book Meghan helped write, and then lied in court about it) she said she was her own stylist because she wanted control of that. She often times looked like shit because she couldnât dress herself up to standards. Now she complains about that đ
I actually like her style and Meghan is considered one of the most well dressed royals in the world.

Because the royal family is well known for blabbing about their personal problems and bitching to anyone who'll listen about their woes.
No wait, they're famous for embodying the stiff upper lip of British upper class and being intensely private about their lives. And I've never seen anyone in the royal family say anything remotely derogatory about Meghan, so which story does she need to set straight?
@@laurendearnley9595 Harry is well aware of that too even if she isn't. They will never do what these 2 are doing which makes it even more dispicable. They'd probably like to tell their side. Deliberately changing their history to a delusional story, slinging mud and false accusations is leading them across a burning bridge to financial poverty in civil court from all families and in-laws. Harry will be on suicide watch.

She was frequently seen on the set of married with children, where he worked. And he paid for private school her whole life and college. Basically she grew up extremely privileged. Here in the uk we are pretty good with diversity and tolerance, especially compared to various other places!!!!
To be fair even the US isn't as bad as our media makes us sound.
The supply for raclst narratives does not meet the demand of wannabe victims in the western world, so they concoct it or misconstrue interactions. I've lived all over the world at various stages of my life, in many communities both rich and poor. As a "white" person, I've personally been called all sorts of abhorrent names, mostly from outside the west, however I can count on one hand the amount of times I've heard a racial slur uttered to one of my "black" or "brown" friends in disrespect in the west. 17:05 The way most people (especially in woke academia) like to portray the history of British colonialism as just a black-and-white affair is just disappointing. Colonialism was bad but not utterly devoid of some net positives in the long-run. My own country of Nigeria has a similar experience. Prior to its creation, the British began colonisation and though they used brutality to gain control of the land/region, it is undeniable that they did some good by abolishing slavery (yes, they partook in it but it was present long before them and my own ancestors practiced it with brutality. The British were the only power that abolished it) The reason why my country can even boast of being an economically strong and largely literate population is partly because of the influence of the British colonialists in laying the educational and economic framework that my country still builds on. They also laid the foundations for a national identity for us and though it is very imperfect, many of us would rather strive to see civic unity continue than our country dissolve.

Here's a thought. Enough people thought slavery was bad that the UK, US and France all abolished slavery. Wars and rebellions were fought to end it. I think we can all agree that slavery is bad. The thing is, slavery still exists in the world today but the only slavery anyone seems interested in talking about is related to countries that ended it in the 17 & 1800's.
They only bring up those countries because the ones that are still practicing slavery don't feel bad about it at all.
I don't agree that slavery is bad.
Sums up her attitude towards foreign cultures & traditions
This reminds of some racist stuff I see in the NHL for the last few years. Like, occasionally Sportsnet will run these segments talking about how poorly black hockey players are treated in the NHL. I don't think all black players agree with this propaganda because there are some notable players completely absent from their interviews. But one of the poster children for this propaganda is Wayne Simmonds, who was a very good player for the Philadelphia Flyers and now plays for the Toronto Maple Leafs. He plays the victim quite a bit even still despite living in Toronto, Ontario and being a huge star in Canada in general.
For the record, Wayne Simmonds has made almost 36 million dollars playing Hockey (and countless more millions from commercials and stuff he has done). He has 2 beautiful daughters and an absolutely gorgeous wife. Needless to say, he is doing very well for himself and I just find it really insulting how they keep pushing people like this as a victim when they are in the top 0.1% successful Canadians and have it better off than pretty much everyone watching the game.
I used to really like Wayne Simmonds. I was excited he was coming to play for Toronto. Needless to say my opinion of him has changed considerably.

I m smart. I m good. I m strong. I m a activist. I m a actress who was horrified of photographers. I had no idea Harry who? Walkabout?? Curtsy? I watch Jeopardy đ”âđ«. I could go on and on. Meghan Meghan Meghan đ€ą
Megan grew up in an upper Middle Class neighborhood. Her mom was gone for more than 10 Yeats.
She was never a Hollywood actress other than a few brief walk on roles lasting seconds. She finally got a role on the cable show Suits that was filmed in Canada.
Meghan has been white until she got married to the Prince. She herself said it. She is a Markle all her life, not a Ragland and live a white childhood, go private school, rode horses etc amongst white communities.
Itâs when the black agenda seem lucrative and many blacks wants her to be their advocate, she changed to embrace being black. Being black not only can secure great financial potentials, it also enable her to walk the red carpet to receive awards. Awards meant for colored people who are successful (NACPP), award as humanitarian fighting racism suffered by colored peopleâŠsomething that was never possible despite years of struggle in Hollywood.
Her mistake is to want to convince the world (rather herself) that she is really a black by erasing her own white heritage. Not just that, she has to erase her husbandâs heritage too so that her kids are accepted as blacks. They are Mountbatten Windsorâs, are they not?? Is Harry also black?? This whole thing is a classic 21st century lunacy.
Harry Markle đ
@@S.W.A I don't think it will be up to him. Meghan will decide that for him.
Stop making fun of Harry đĄ
Markle that ain't nice.

Why were her teachers all wearing facemasks outdoors?! Probably to remain anonymous.
Pay attention the the disgust in Meghan's voice when she says "I was never treated as a BLACK woman before that"
In case anyone doesn't know, Princess Diana used to fax her daily schedule to the paparazzi so they knew where to find her out and about.
That is my recollection as well. 'De mortuis nil nisi bonum' and all that, but it seemed Diana, like Meghan, worked hard to keep herself in the limelight even as she complained about her privacy, and she did not hesitate drop hints of all manner of unpleasantness she suffered at the hands of the Royal Family. Hmm. Diana and Meghan. Paging Dr Freud...
Sheâs absolutely lying. She had someone specifically assigned to her to train her about the rules and regs. Like donât wear black in public which she did, a lot.
I don't even believe that Megan wrote that letter to her principal how can you believe anything out of her mouth when time and time again she keeps getting caught in lies, just tell the truth Megan damn!
Thankfully another show about the same subject matter was released. South Park created a masterpiece!
Her whole class at school wrote letters, as Iâm sure others did. It was not her that changed the washing up ad.
Throughout her past, on driving licence included, she marked herself as White!
They need to leave the RF alone.
And about racism is more like Moghan is promoting racism.
This royal family couple just needs to keep to themselves. Its pure narcissism at this point. To have the fame, the wealth, Netflix series, royal family etc etc and to still claim victim?? Oh geeeez! You can't be wealthy and victim at the same time just like you can't go up and down at the same time.
I suspect when they run out of gossip to sell, we'll see a gender reveal. It'll be Meghan Markle and her princess Harriet.
The more famous, wealthy and privileged you are, the more oppressed you become. It's all so clear now.
NETFLIX paid $100 million dollars to lose ÂŁ368 million poundsâŠ. 6.4 million people in the UK alone has cancelled Netflix as they do not want their Subscription Fees going to these Two Wingers âŠ.đWell done Netflix great Business sense đâŠ.
I don't think Harry or Meghan wash dishes.
There is definitely a victim in this couple.
It's not Meghan though.
But it was a large campaign to change the dish soap commercial. Meghan didn't change it alone.
There are articles that came out that say Meagan was given a huge binder on Royal protocols and I believe members like Sophie offered to help her. I feel sheâs like making herself feel like the victim. Plus as someone who did like them in the begining they are changing how their relationship began it was always blind date now itâs instagram.
What bothers me is her being annoyed that she was wearing ripped jeans when meeting Will and Kate for first time . I am not royalty but I always am a bit formal when meeting relatives I donât know very well. Plus I donât hug people I donât know even huggers donât do that
