    Wrong data about Russian. According to it In 1988 Russian speakers is less than population of USSR by 70m, even though it was official state language. Not to mention dozens millions of Russian and Soviet migrants in US, EU and Israel at that time.

      Official state language doesn’t mean all people speak it. Under USSR were non russian speaking countries also. Source for the data is ethnologue.com, if you still feel that it is wrong you may direct your concerns there 😊

      English does exist today because of USA. If USA adopted another language, English would decline like a shooting star.
