I know I'm 9 years late but I watched this from start to finish! you are so talented!
Thanks Marie! Happy you found it. I'm still at it.
You are a bead artist and that is fabulous 🤩.
Thank you Leticia
I like the guys in the comment section who are impressed by the number of threads, 97 is Nothing ! there is a Japanese traditional weaving done by hand which used 1600 threads.
Now this being said, you lady are insanely patient and even more insanely talented !
This is mesmerizing to watch and the result is breathtaking , especially your work on colour gradation and contrast which is just terrific .

this totally blew my mind! Thank you sharing your amazing talent. This makes my peyote stitch look like kindergartener's homework. Simply amazing. Wow.
This is absolutely amazing. I must admit this is my 3rd time watching this video because your voice is so relaxing I kept falling asleep. But i enjoyed every bit!
I have watched a lot of beading on CZcams but you are the first true artist I have seen this is not to say what the other people are doing is not creative... it is just not art like your project. I was amazed to see the process and love the homemade looking loom. The loom in itself is a work of art. You have moved my thoughts from making little bracelets to statement pieces like yours. All kudos to you and I am subscribing so I hope this is the Artist's channel. Thank you so very much.
So did you move on from making bracelets? I'm just starting out with bracelets. We little acorns mighty oaks are grown. ;-)
Amen!
Well said!
I'm new to bead weaving and have been viewing multiple video learning how. Your video is by far the best I have viewed! Your step by step instruction on a project makes so much more sense than just a few strands for a bracelet! Your incorporation of bars and "found objects" really opens one mind to the endless possibilities of beadwork. You answered so many questions that was floating in my head, some I didn't even know I had. Thank you, thank you , thank you.
THANK YOU for the tip with the skewer to keep threads from popping out. Brilliant!!!!!
Happy to help Betty!
Peggy, you have provided the type of beading experience I have been looking for. The design, to the tangs, to the tapestry is unlike so much on the web. In this one video, I have learned more than any other internet site I searched. I do not want to make jewelry but incorporate the beading into my art. Thank you.
jrheastudios Thank you for the feedback. I'm so happy it gave you inspiration to incorporate beading into your work
Your patience is amazing! I wish I had a work station like you do. Thank you for sharing your craft!
Very beautiful work. You are a true artist. Your patience is highly commendable. This is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
This was really interesting to watch. Putting the bamboo sticks over the warp threads was a neat idea, I'll have to remember that one
Thanks Tasoq! Those bamboo skewers saved me a lot of frustration.
You are Absolutely Amazing! I was simply fascinated by your whole process! You have the patience of a saint and are a true artist. It was a pleasure to watch you work.
thank you Denine!
Beautiful work. You have so much patience to do this. Thank you for for your generosity in sharing your process.
This is amazing!!!! I love beading and everything to do with it. I have never seen anything quite like this yet. I find it inspiring. Thank you for recording this step by step. You made it so easy to understand. Of course you made it look way too easy also :) Thank you for sharing!!!
This is definitely wonderful to watch! Love beads!
This is an amazing talent. Thank you for sharing what you know. I would never have the patience to do this, but it is fascinating to watch.
I am in awe. Thank you so much for sharing your fantastic art!
This video is absolutely amazing!! What a beautiful job and what intensity!! WOW! Thank you for taking the time to post the video it was done so well.
That was so darn cool. I've never seen a bead loom project that size and with such wonderful details/ Thank you so v much for sharing you inspiration, skill and talent with us. You determination and patience with this work is a wonder. Moment after moment bead after bead, I make beaded jewelry but nothing close to 95 beads wide. The finished product was amazing. I feel inspired (but not to follow in your steps) lol peace,..
I watched this entire thing. So fascinating. I'm new to beads and you have really encouraged me to investigate further. Now, to find a loom!!
What a fabulous video you made. Thank you! I learned so much.
Brilliant. This is a fabulous idea, and a beautifully executed project (it reminds me of a Warhol). I cannot wait to try this in a project using some of my own artwork. Thank you for being so generous and sharing this very clever technique.
Inspiration to creation, LOVE IT! That was awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for the tip of using skewers in the springs!!
Amazing. You have so much patience and the end result is gorgeous.
This is absolutely fantastic.
Main Drain. I love it.
Thank you!
I truly enjoyed watching this! Love beads indeed! Keep up the great beadwork!
You are such an inspiration and so generous! I am learning more here than beading alone. Thank you.
That's so nice to hear! Thank you very much.
WOW!! What a talent you have. Absolutely amazing.
this is a far cry from any loom I have ever seen available, and you are a true craftsperson and very detailed information. I am very impressed. My eyesight and general lack of what this takes makes me an admirer of what you do and know I will only use this as a general idea of what is possible on a much smaller scale. I thank you for your video.
Judy, thank you for your comment
Wouah!! You're an amazing artist!!
This is phenomenal! I think I'll be using that knotting method in future.
Stunning! You're amazing with beading, and you make it seem so easy.
Thank you!
I enjoyed watching your video, and I love your art! I taught myself how to weave, and I prefer to work backwards (bottom up, left to right). I have used yarn/string in my pieces, but I never thought to use metal (cool idea)! As for mounting, I cheat. I go to the frame shop/hobby store and have them do it for me. The one thing I was hoping to see is an alternative way to finishing (since I have to do that). I hate knotting at the end...and as for weaving the ends back into the piece...well that is even worse. It's funny that I have the patience for the weaving, but not for the finishing. My biggest piece so far is 18" x 18" (55,100 size 11/0 beads). I wasn't happy when I got to the end... I do, however, like the way you knotted your project...I guess there is no way to avoid it... Darn! :) Please do tell me where you got your loom. I have several looms (my addiction), but I like the one you have...as well as your warping board. Thank you in advance.
when I started watching I thought, "this is something I would like to try" it wasn't long that I realized that this was way out of my reach! love your work, you are a true artist!
Thanks Sue B-T. You can try starting with a small Indian bead loom which you can get in craft stores and online. It is a very simple, inexpensive tool and simple technique. It's worth exploring!
I like learning how you make your art. Most generous of you. Thank you.
Thank you so much for sharing your process. I work in multiple mediums and most recently have gone back to bead weaving. I really love my variety but been doubting my approach. Checked out your website and all the wonderful photos of your work, and came back to thank you for doing what you do. You've reinspired my creative heart that I'm doing just as I'm meant to do. Your talent is refreshing and wonderful to see!
Thank You so much for your feedback. Doubts take hold of me all the time too and then I shake them off and plunge into some new crazy project.
Very creative. Awesome work. You must have a lot of patience.
This was a really well done video. Clear instructions and good video. Thanks
This is so amazing to watch! You're a great artist!
The fact that you shared all this information! Wow thank you!!!!! 💜💜💜
You're welcome. Thanks for visiting.
from technique to concept this whole piece is amazing!
Thanks so much Sunny
You are a true artist in your works, I hope someday to be able to use 96 strands. Whew amazing work
this is simply amazing I am just starting off and having problems after problems but you made me want to get all the kinks out just so I can do something close to skill level
You are very talented and patient! your work is wonderful!
Wow, just wow!!!! Lady you are magnificent!!!!!!! This is just plain gorgeous. I just can't believe how you did this, the patience, the artistic eyes, and hands you have. Your the best.!!!!!
Thank you Bambi
Hi, I actually purchased the loom from Tony. The service is excellent from a detailed seller; the loom is beyond my expectation.
Good for you! I'm happy to hear that. I love my looms. I've been using them for many years with no problems.
Love your work! Beautiful...
W O W … stunning work and great commentary as you worked. Thank you
Thank you Anita
wow amazing. Great peace of work and art.
Absolutely fascinating and inspiring!
It doesn't seem like that piece is 9 x 12. It turned out beautifully. And the detail was on point. A mosaic of beads carefully chosen. I would have probably lost count and had to begin again. Lol. I am happy she shared it. Very informative. I will always have this video as a reference.
I just purchased my first beading loom and anxious to get started. In the mean time, while I'm waiting on my beads to arrive, I'm planning out designs.
Now, I'm wondering, if a print shop could transfer an image to graph paper. I have some drawings that I can have transferred to graph paper, without redrawing the image 😊. Which isn't a big deal. But if it's a time saver, is an awesome good idea to consider.
Inspiring!
I've been thinking about how to go larger, since my printer is only 8.5 by 11. I would definitely go to a print shop. not sure if they have graphing capability but you can always draw a graph onto a large print, just takes patience.

What a wonderful, in depth video! Thank you so much for sharing. The whole time I was watching, I was thinking what an imagination you have, and how the heck did you ever figure out what color beads to use. Awesome job!
Thank you so much Anna!
you are my hero! Amazing work!
I'm currently in the process of learning how to weave, which lead me to your videos. But between seeing this video and going through your Flickr, I have to say that I LOVE your work. It's so freaking good and inspiring. I hope that I can eventually make art just as good one day. Thank you!
Thank you so much. Your comments and your interest in my work mean the world to me! Best wishes.
Absolutely amazing!

Wow..ran across your video by mistake..but maybe it was meant to be...I have so many ideas in my head art wise that I want to get out and in bead form...and u have just awakened me more with inspiration esp with just the words displayed above lips. Awesome talent. Thanks for sharing ur spirit....p.s could u go over again how u did the image to the bead graph? Looks alot easier than just using beadtool haha
I’d like to see how you do this too. Maybe in a bit more detail. You know me I need it step by step.
Thanks so much for sharing your awesome talent!!!!
Thanks Peggy for the feedback. I'm trying to understand how to read patterns now. So when i do start making my designs I can follow it properly.
Amazing piece!
Wow. Truly Amazing. Not only is ur work amazing, but your patients. Bravo!!! I could never complete a whole image if I tried. I'd get bored of seeing and doing the same thing. But I'm surprised I watched this whole video. Very interesting. Thanks for sharing. You're very talented. Thank you again. 😃
Milena V Thank you!
Stormyrapture: I printed my picture (cartoon) first. Then I put the printed paper containing the cartoon through the printer again, this time printing a bead graph right on top of the cartoon.
I see.
THIS HELPED ME A LOT THANK YOU
That’s awesome.
@@craftylady11 Thank you
How did you find graph paper the size of the beads?
Seeing this artistic achievement gives me a similar feeling to the one I had when I learned how a baby is conceived, develops in the womb, and is born. It’s like a miracle you cannot believe turns out right. God is the ultimate artistic creator, but some artists appear godlike in their seemingly miraculous creations. Thank you for sharing!
Wow! Thank you.
Thank you for a truly inspiring tutorial.
This is freaking bananas... congrats on the amazing piece. Goes beyond craft and is certainly art, I hope you consider yourself an artist. It’s funny, a great use of found objects, and technically skilled beyond belief. Awesome!
Lawrence Smith Thank you so very much!
Beautiful, thank you!!! Subscribed.
Oh my gosh! That round dowel inside the springs- to hold down the threads- idea is going to save my life from now on with how many frustrating times I've had with that popping out & moving around on me happening! That.....right there....was the most brilliant idea for loom work/bead weaving ever! Oh gosh.....thank u for that! I feel like so much relief has just swept over me because of that tip! (Threads popping up is a major problem for me- can u tell?😉) Thank u, thank u, thank u!
Gotta love the bamboo skewer! Hope it helps. Thanks for the comment Teira.
That piece is awesome!
Thank you Natalie!

Thank you for your help ~ much appreciated!!
Incredible !
absolutely beautiful
Hi from Madrid, Spain! Truly impressed by this piece of art. I have just started beading after a couple of trips to Mexico and falling in love with colourful Huichol beading art. I am not interested in making jewelery but using beading to customize clothes or create hanbags or just plain art like you just did. Thanks for sharing, it was a real pleasure watching the whole process.
Thank you Silvia. I too was inspired towards beadwork after seeing the Huichol work. Good luck with your beading. If you use instagram you can see more of by beadwork @peggy_dembicer
Thanks, Peggy! I’ll look for you on IG too!
@@silviaascasibar267 I got his email address klissus@msn.com
Dembicer thanks!! I really appreciate it! I have so many questions! I’ve seen in your IG feed that you also have some Huichol-like mosaic type works done. I inow mexicans use Campeche wax to stick the beads together but that’s not easy to find anywhere else but in Mexico. What did you use? I’ve read about epoxi resins but you have lmited working time.
I started with US and Mexico bead suppliers, later I found some in Spain too but it would be so nice to find all those materials over here... Also, your loom is amazing, I already read who made it for you. I wish I had a Tony in Spain :) Take care!
@@silviaascasibar267 I use white glues to adhere my beads. I got a recommendation from other beaders and now use Aleene's Quick Dry tacky glue, it dries very clear. I use a narrow tipped plastic squeeze bottle to apply it, the kind of bottle nail salons use to make designs on finger nails. Other beaders like to use motorized air pens for applying the glues. The mosaics are quite time consuming, but such fun when they are finished.
This was very helpful, thank you!!
amazing work!!!
Thank you!
