I worked at Williams for 7 years in the Conference centre /hospitality. Left in 2016. Loved my time there. Claire is amazing.

Thank you for this video. You can tell the sell still haunts Claire, but glad she's optimistic about the future of the team in other hands.

I always liked Claire, now I see why. She's on of the most honest and candid person in the business. The legacy will never die completely.

A Willams fan since the mid 80s, ((I still have a pair of Cannon Williams sneakers)), I have nothing but respect for all you did to fight. I cannot even imagine the challenges you faced, not only to run an F1 team, but to try and compete in the modern manufacturer funded world of F1. Handing the team off to someome who is continuing the fight under the Willaims name was brilliant. Thank you for all you gave.

Love you Claire, you did a great job under dire circumstances. My heart breaks just listening to this and remembering that time-brutal.💔🏁

I met a retired guy from (Hewland?) gearboxes from back in the nineties and he said that even then, Frank was the worst person to get bills paid etc. Evidently Williams had a reputation for never having any money..

I think we all have a soft spot for Claire. She done a great job in a very tough world of F1 I meet Frank once at Brands Hatch back in the late 80’s and this will always stay in my memory for ever. Great open & honest interview.

Nice little interview. I think anyone who loves F1 would love to see Williams up at the top again. I was a Silverstone in '92 when Red 5 won, oh my god what a day. The cars, the noise, the crowd and of course our Nige. I still look back with a smile at that amazing day. Awesome. To see passionate people running F1 teams, regardless of their family name, is how it is now. Zak Brown is a good example, loves any form of motorsport but McLaren is his world. Good to see these names remaing in the f1 world

Would be good to get these ex team owners on a panel to help reshape F1.

To me, Claire has all the traits of a high-value, classy lady. I have missed her in Formula One, and I am so glad to see her appear in the Drive to Survive Netflix series again. I have the greatest respect for this lady, she has done her father proud. I think Formula One should keep her in the media, as she is a great asset to them. In life, we all make difficult choices, but knowing you have done the right one is a blessing, as Claire did.

When Newey left, Williams never ran at the front again. Great women who bowed out gracefully 🙏

Claire is clearly a highly talented woman. Frank would be so proud of what she achieved

In this scenario, we see the classic family business model, albeit on a grander scale. The father achieves significant success, but his true strength lies in operational efficiency rather than entrepreneurial acumen. Meanwhile, one of the children joins the company and rapidly ascends the corporate ladder, potentially bypassing more capable colleagues along the way. Despite the passage of time, the business culture remains largely unchanged from the father’s era. Unfortunately, the daughter’s lack of experience or innate talent results in outdated systems draining financial resources behind the scenes. Ultimately, the failure of Williams can be attributed in part to Frank, but it also reflects the broader issue of nepotism and the challenge of bridging generational gaps. Vowles has already highlighted that Williams was stuck in the past.

I`ve always been a Williams fan since i can remember back around 1990. 2008 in Hungary 2009 in Turkey and 2011 in Italy, it felt like i`m the only one wear a cup, a shirt and cary a flag in the track. In 2020 half my heart stoped beating. I have to admit that i still keep an eye on the team even if the magic dust of the Williams family is gone!🏁😊✌
