It was great to see Claire and the family in the Williams Pits at Miami. One of my favorite documentaries is the one about the Williams family, Sir Frank’s accident and coming to terms with his injuries. Full respect to all involved in keeping the Williams name and team alive.

Even when Ayrton run for McLaren, becoming a champion, he was forced to stop many races due to broken cars. If you doubt he was the best, look at his first year in F1, when he was racing in Monaco for Tolleman, one of the most unlikely teams. Senna era phoda!

Glad Claire sold the team. The car they ran in 2014 was great, so they sat on it until 2019 with modifications to comply with any rule changes. Not how you keep a team in the grid. Clair went racing for money, not to be competitive

As a teen I never liked Tommy Buttfinger brand, didn't understand the fuzz and now I get it was pushed by rich Stroll. So shameful to see him buy his son an undeserving F1 seat since F3 cheats, bypassing F2, the kid clearly doesn't have peripheral vision after years in F1 still isn't aware of his surroundings, what a window licker!

I'm a long time F1 fan. I guess living 10 minutes from Imola circuit and clearly hearing cars in my bedroom when they were racing might also have amped that a bit. I learned to love a lot of the characters of this world. And I have to say, I'm deeply fascinated by Claire's persona. She has this kind of calm and strong aura around herself, I really enjoyed her TP years. And, even if I knew the paddock lost a lot when she left, I deeply respected her decision. But man, I'd love to see her back in F1.

If Andretti is not permitted to field a team Mr. Malone has the power to cancel F1 revenue in North America. You take our money but won't let us field a team. Good. I'm not on our university's FSAE team, but I am on our Baja (offroading) team and it's a challenge building a car in time. We have the advantage of not really worrying about aero (unless Cal Poly's aero kit catches on) and engine (standardized kohler engine), but we have many of the same problems as FSAE. The university seems to hate student teams and has been funding us less and less while our ambitions keep growing. And it's not just funding they're shorting us on. They're handicapping our machine shop access, which sucks since we try to make as many parts as possible in-house. A lot of the good universities have amazing support behind their teams, and without it teams struggle. I wish more universities would step up and properly fund and equip their student teams so that they can compete at their very best instead of having to worry about whether they'll have enough money to make it to competition every year
