- After getting back from our Colorado trip, we were looking forward to being outside as much as possible. With the COVID-19 crisis concealing us at home, we thought it would be healthy to get out in the woods and do some fishing/camping for a weekend (social distanced of course). It was a fun little weekend trip and it got us stoked for planning our next big backpacking trip.
Thanks to everyone who participated in the giveaway and Congrats to the winner!

Makes me feel better to see other people losing fish as well :) It's tough learning to set the hook. I still spin fish, but started fly fishing consistently the last two years.
That was some beautiful water you guys were fishing. Those plunge pools looked amazing. Can't believe that 1st stream had browns in it
Love these videos. Thank you for giving us an enjoyment of the outdoors, even when we can't experience it ourselves. Keep it up!!
Awesome! That creek looks like a fun one. Not many people understand how hard it is to film fly fishing in a little canyon like this one. Great job as always!
You got that right, my man!
Beautiful guys. Looks so fun. Makes me want one of those little campers in my pick up.
Our stay at home order prohibits fishing. I had been having really good dry fly days for browns for the first two weeks of quarantine before that. It's been a month since I've last fished, so I'm just going to live vicariously through your videos. Awesome work, boys!
Always take super glue with you. It stops the bleeding and doesn't burn.
I get super excited every time you post a new video! Really enjoy watching them 👍🏼😌 Really influenced me in purchasing my first fly rod!
Loved this video. The production and background music was perfect. Looked like a little drone action added more to this. I have fished the high NC mountain streams for little mature bookies, browns, and rainbows. Keep up the good work.
Awesome job guys and awesome looking streams! Love the wild stuff.
Cool video! Love that little truck camper! I’m just on the other side of the mountain in East Tennessee.
So cool to see people fishing!! Thank you for this. I'm stuck in Montreal and my favorite spots are in the Adirondacks... Not going to be back for a while I guess. Beautiful job guys. I keep dreaming about the day I will be able to be back on streams :)
Stay strong, we’ll all be back out on the water in no time👊🏻
Great content, man, so cinematic! You've definitely earned my sub. Headed to the Gorge next weekend for a few days for the fist time. Any suggestions on river sections/flies/etc. for an amateur?? Keep up the great work!
Really enjoyed the new video!! Super pro and great capture!
So sick man! Cannot wait to get back up to Boonetown. Keep it up brother 🤘🏻
looks like fun! the waders in may and the x large net cracked me up too haha
Another great video. Brings back great memories from my days at ASU back in the 80s. We used to do a bunch of hiking down in Linville Gorge. There was no Google maps back then, we used to go to Footsloggers to check out the topo maps and look for out of the way blue lines.
That’s awesome man! Nothing like some good exploring in the gorge
Great videos!!! Love to watch you should throw a little first aid kit in your pack. Just a little one doesn't take up much space. Great luck to you guys and all your adventures.
Yep, no doubt. Definitely a good lesson to take away from this trip, fortunately it wasn’t any worse!
Another awesome video. Thanks so much for posting
Great video guys! Your content is solid. Cant wait to get up there and chase some brookies.
No doubt man, it’s about that time of year...
So nice! Keep going ! To me this kind of fishing is the best, even the fish are small, the deep dive into nature is complete, and this make a lot ! Here in France we are stucked at home, it is forbidden to go fishing (crazy politics)...then you make me dream and maybe some day I 'll go to visit North Carolina!
No doubt man, stay safe!
@@WildFlyProductions thank you for the answer. one question : do you ship your apparel to France?
What gear do you all use for wet or dry wading?
Who else stopped watching after finding out they didn’t win............Syke we’re all winners bc we get this raw ass content
😂
Good video. Some nice water. I respect the work you have to put in to make this video. I am a CZcams content creator and it takes extra work to pack in a drone just so we get to view some cool shots. Tight Lines
good stuff fellas enjoyed it
Beautifully shot, good editing, very well put together video! Prop strikes are the real deal, man. What drone are you flying? Definitely subscribing!
Thanks Patrick! I use the Mavic Pro.
Great quality of video.
Another killer video, you guys never fail to amaze me. Keep it up
Thanks my dude 🙌🏻
You got sponsored by hatch! I think you won bud!
Another nice vid bro enjoy your content every single time
Would you mind sharing what trailhead that was? I'm big into Tenkara and all of those plunge pools look great for it.
Hey my dude whats the white indicator yall use? Thx
Rockin NC.. keep it up!
What waders do you currently use for these trips?
Nice vid!!! After this whole Covid thing is over you should come down to Central Oregon and check this place out!
No doubt, it's on the list my man
@@WildFlyProductions There is a TON of good water down here!
What’s the trail you guys are fishing off of?
Dig the Birds hat, got the same at a concert in Va
@WildFlyProductions love the videos! you got me obsessed with fly fishing! question: when you're hiking into a stream, what set up do you use for footwear and pants? do you just hike in and out wearing your boots and waders? Just moved to NW Montana and am looking forward to go exploring some backcountry streams this summer and was curious about your set up when you're not floating
Another nice video, and congrats to the winner!
Some lovely water and nice filming.
Thanks guys!
Excellent content guys! Y'all give me a shout next time your up in WNC let's link up!
Fire vid!
the gorge is a beautiful place! i love hiking it!
What george is it?
Nice one!!!!!
Love the videos, keep them coming. Also I have a question. Where did you get those hoodies with the cinch cord? They look super comfy and I want one
Thanks Matthew! We got those hoodies in Leadville, CO at Melanzanas. They’re a company based in Leadville and they only sell in their store. We all got one when we went out.
WildFlyProductions thanks for the reply. I thought they were Melanzanas but was kinda hoping it was another company where I could order online but I guess I’ll just have to make a trip to Leadville. Let me know if you come through Utah and I’ll show you some waters!
Love your stuff guys ! Followed you to NH and out to Colorado....if you plan a trip back to NH ping me and I can share a couple of nice blue lines you will really like....we just moved here from NH and I am excited to head to Boone once this COVID stuff passes.....
How do you find your wild streams? A lot of people I talk to around N.C. say they look at maps and look for high elevations and blue lines. I’m always afraid that if I do that I’ll hike 6 miles to a stream that doesn’t even contain any trout
Zack Beardsley check the stream regulations on the NC Wildlife Resources website. It lists the designated trout streams and their location.
What stream is this? I’m also in the 828
Are you sponsored by hatch now?
Is this lost cove creek? Both times ive been there I havent had much luck, this makes me wanna go back!
I heard some rayland baby!!!!
That reminds me of fishing Gragg Prong and Lost Cove Creeks.
May I ask what river this is?
I am a student down in Clemson and am looking for some new places close to here in WNC, thanks!
I am leaving early tomorrow morning for North Carolina from Tennessee to do some flyfishing can you give me a couple of hints on where to go
