You can tell that Alex carries so much sadness, but he absolutely radiates positivity and love. He deserves happiness.

The fact that they not only adopted two siblings and left one in the system but also kept them apart until they turn 18 makes me so sad.
Thats the system though cant have contact until they are legal adults because then parents cant have a say..what happened is disgusting but for all they have a good ending
Yes. The did wrong by letting an incident stop them from taking him, then compounded it by keeping the siblings apart.
They explain in Alex's adoption video and a video after his reunion as to why he wasn't adopted and why his siblings had to wait until they were 18 to contact each other. It's quite sad tbh

Alex is the definition of a survivor , he’s lost so much when it came to his past but you all have helped him heal. Just seeing the joy that Jessica radiates I have no doubt this is just the beginning of a very special bond now that she’s back in his life . They look a lot alike

Imagine picking 2 children out of a sibling trio to adopt and leaving the third one in foster care and not allowing them to meet until they were 18 !
It was their loss as Alex is a really nice young man. It just makes me sad for all 3 of them.

There was one good side to it though. He stayed with Hannah and her older sister as a sibling set and connected with the Crazy Pieces.

But Hannah isn’t a bio sister - they became siblings whilst in an abusive adoptive home 😢

I’m sorry but I just cannot fathom how they could adopt the oldest and youngest siblings and leave one behind. Alex is the sweetest young man and I’m thankful he at least got to reconnect with his siblings.
Alex was so little and he didn’t understand why his parents were gone and he was living with strangers. He threw a tantrum and threw himself backwards on the floor and hit his foster mom with his head and gave her a bloody nose. They took him back the same day. When Crystal and Aaron took him in and he had a tantrum he said you can take me back now every one else does. Crystal said no Alex you are my son and I will love you no matter what. It is their love that turned him into the loving person he is.

@@ddinottia39 what in the world are you talking about? They’re just telling the story of how Alex came to be who he was? Pretty sure that Alex has told the story himself in one of his adoption videos. The person that was saying that was not being mean at all.
@@ddinottia39 they are correct. They have told the story multiple times go back to some of their foster stories from a few years ago, they have been really open with his story 👍🏽

They only did that to Alex because he wasn't a full biological brother to them he was a stepbrother I think that was so horrible leaving him in the system but God knew what was best for Alex because he he was adopted by a beautiful family that loves him after all

@demicovington4879 No, I don't believe so. If I remember correctly, they were people that Josh ended up staying with. Not the ones that adopted them.

Dear Alex, I want to praise you for keeping a positive attitude and not allowing the unfair and traumatic early childhood you endured to define your future. It may not have been fair but you ended up in a good place with a family that loves you. Now meeting your bio sibling is such a blessing. Congratulations.
As an adoptive mom, I cannot imagine keeping bio family from a child if it’s a healthy safe relationship. The more people to love on my kiddo and connect, the better!
The story behind his adoption is horrific but im actually thankful for crystal and aaron adopting him..hes destroyed but he will heal fully now

I cried most of this video. I don't understand why the youngest and the oldest were adopted while the middle child wasn't, but Alex is SOOOOOOO loved. I'm glad he's with this family.
I found my bio sister in 2019. I never knew she existed. I was 62 when we met. I love her!
I love when the kids get to meet up with their bio family. But especially Alex because he has been the most vocal about wanting to do this. Finally, this is happening for all of them. This is wonderful. It is so sad that any kids get separated in them lives like they do. But i give Aaron and Crystal so much credit for getting the kids the chance to do this! Just so wonderful.
I can only imagine the range of emotions Alex and Jessica must have had meeting each other. It is very courageous of both to open their hearts and nuture their bond. It was very sweet to watch them meet. May this be a second beginning to a lifelong siblingship filled with love for them.

the great thing about it is that crystal does not shove a camera in his face, she does film but only if he's okay with it. and i find that admirable.

@@prabhjitsingh6135he just visits them a lot because I believe he is local to them. Also him and Melinda have a bond so he also hangs out with her & they do fun things.
Touching video today. So happy he could finally be reunited with his sister. This is why I really admire Shelly and Jared for seeking out sibling sets; and admire Crystal and Aaron for working tirelessly to locate bio family for their children. I felt a twinge of pain when Alex learned that he is a half brother, but still has so much love for his sister.
I cried again seeing the brothers clip again & cried when Alex & Jessica hugged at the end. She was really surprised on her gift. That’s to much she said. I gave my son up 55 years ago & I’ve never seen him. Wish I could so I could explain why. Glad these 2 have reunited & she will b part of the family now.
u shd do a family DNA test so your in the system... so if any chance your son does a DNA test you will be able to get a message from him if he is looking for you since he may have a whole new name!! prayers you get closure!!!
barbara, please remember that you did what you had to at the time, and your son likely grew up to be a wonderful person. some people simply do not want a relationship with their biological family because it's either too much for them to handle, they hold a grudge, or they had a great life and have no need to meet their bio families. all reasons are valid, and none of them are your fault. he is likely living with a family of his own, and you can live peacefully knowing that he will be strong because of what he's been through. it may not have been ideal for either of you. but you did what you had to do, and he's doing what he has to do.
Alex, that older brother protective instinct and love ❤️ with the hand in her head while you hug her 🤗 ❤ 15 years but you never forgot her, never lose that bug brother love (even though you're the middle). You're an amazing young man, as Crystal said you have a lot of sisters, and i think that your bio sister allowed you to bond, protect and care each of your sisters in an other level!!! 15 years later you can also hug her ❤

I love that you encourage relationships with bio families as long as it is healthy. She really looks like the female version of Alex. And she was so appreciative of the gifts. I hope they are able to stay in contact and get closer now that she is 18.
The first vlog I ever watched was when Alex met Josh and that's what got me hooked on Crazy Pieces. I'm so glad that it has come full circle and now Alex can have a relationship with both of his biological siblings. For someone who had a rough start in life, Alex is surrounded with more love than most people ever know. God put him right where he was supposed to be! 🥰

It took me almost 20 years before I was able to reconnect with my siblings from my biological father. I have another brother and 3 sisters because of my bio-dad. I was adopted by my grandparents on my mom's side

I don’t know why but Alex pulls on my heartstrings so much, it may be my momma heart but you can just tell he’s gone through so much in his life. Even though they were both pretty young when they got separated, you can tell how much he missed her & how excited she was to see/meet him. When they hugged, my momma heart melted. You can just see that there was so much time lost between them but also that they never forgot each other or the sibling love they have, even with them being so young. So beyond happy for you Alex!
