I still hear a little more bass than I should. So, I guess it needs 5dB less to be exact, like the engineer Ulrich wanted.
@@dirtyharry1881 - bass is actually too low. This is a lot tinnier and thinner than the actual album.

I know! Metallica may be my favorite band but, c'mon... it's called Thrash. It's supposed to be fast, not always "good" sounding. You can make a coherent and understandable sound and still have it be Thash. Not every song has to be a Master of Puppets or another The Trooper.

I’m definitely guilty of the tone snob thing, but I mainly just like a good riff and a vocalist who sings in key without sounding like his nuts are getting stepped on. Is that so much to ask?

I love how “weird” the riffs become when put in the AJFA style. It’s like the guitar on the album is infected with something and the riffs get warped a bit, throwing things slightly off beat, but it all manages to work and kicks ass. I love the AJFA sound. I’m mainly talking about the verse riff in this version.

James' vocals has more became much more grit and deeper, but it's a bit soft on the master track.
Also love the way you change the ballad part into an AJFA style; less clean more dirty, a buildup harmony towards the end.

This is actually insane, I love what you did with the riffs, especially in the verse and main riff, the interlude was amazing as well. The entire thing was just great, you nailed it man, looking forward to future works.
On one hand, AJFA is such a poorly produced/mixed album. But on the other hand, there's no other way these songs SHOULD sound. It just wouldn't be One or Dyer's Eve without that super dry sound.
A clean AJFA is an AJFA that I wouldn't want to listen to!

And Justice for all would be the greatest album of all time if this was on it.
Justice's tone has such distinct aggression and thickness that some people actually think they're hearing bass! I mean the chug on the riffs is so breathtaking, trumping even the already pretty thick Master of Puppets tone. Just imagine if the original Justice tone had bass- even the Black Album would stand no chance in sheer "mass" and "aggression!"
Geeeeeezzzzzzz!!!! I love every one of these more and more! I am in absolute awe at the dedication, love, respect, craft, talent, discipline, and work that has gone into these. Simply amazing. I am grinning bigger and bigger every minute, and this is more exciting than hearing these fresh for the first time on release day back in my teens and twenties! They're familiar and welcoming, but doubly so because of the blending of time and song. I am not let down by ANY of these. Such masterful execution. I am in awe. Thank you SO MUCH!

Artan McManus nah, he takes bits and pieces from songs and puts Em together, with a bit of programming.
Drums programmed with samples made from the and justice record, guitars that are likely re-recorded and tone matched. Vocals from the original record, there's a ton of sites that have the stems and there are sites that will remove vocals from tracks too

My two cents, This is every bit amazing as I hoped it would be! The clean part also changed really nicely and fit in the style. We need Master of Puppets in every album style!

Someone did it with a RTL tone. They just took the master tracks and adjusted the EQ
