We went last Friday. My girls enjoy the mermaid show is beautiful. The water was at 72 a little cold for Floridian people lol but we love it and enjoy it on a hot day. You can take your beach chairs and tents

Wachee State Park looks amazing. The 20 minute cruise down river looks so relaxing. The water looked so clear.
Weeki Wachee is probably my favorite spring so far! But, I feel like I say that about every new park I discover! lol. You would definitely love this one, though. It is beautiful!

Do you get to the kayak rentals from with in the park where the mermaid show and buccaneer bay are? or is it a different location?
It's different. The kayak rental parking lot is located behind the weeki wachee parking lot. You'll see the entrance for the kayaking area in the back of the weeki wachee lot. If you are planning on doing both, you can just park in the weeki wachee lot and just walk back to the kayaking area - which is what we did.
Hello! Is it possible to miss the exit while kayaking? Or do the river run you right into the area where you are supposed to get off?

Yes! The river runs your right into it and it’s was hard to miss! Plus there were team members standing at the end of the pier waving you down. 😁
