Had a little break, but so excited to be back! Let me know what you think of todays videos!
I love your videos, and have missed you !
Such great ideas!!! Even though this is for 2022, it carries over year after year. Thank bff!
I love your energy….and great video. I just subscribed. Excited to see more videos. I’m kind of new in planning and loved your tips. Thanks 🙏
I'm a 61 year old black man ,that have never thought about using a planner. But I'm in the process of fulfilling a to do bucket list,by going back to high school, because I dropped out back in 1979. Now you may have some idea of what I'm dealing with. Help!!! and thanks for your video 🥸
Congrats on finishing your schooling
So proud of you !
Aww!!! It’s never too late my friend! Congratulations and best of wishes!! I’m 56! We’re just getting started, baby!
You got this Calvin!! Best of luck to you! 💖
Good luck on your school year!
It's never too late!
I have 5 kids, so I always add a page that lists their current sizes for shirts, pants and shoes as well as current favorite color and interests. That way when I’m out if I see something I know one would like I know what size or color to get or if a family member asks for sizes I don’t have to try to remember who is in what size.
Oooo this is a great idea...I have 4 so I feel you
I'm a 58 year old lifetime planner. I'm taking classes and have lots of online stuff I am watching that I plan. I love planning.
Karmelin I am so glad that you here!
I do most of these, but I especially love 2 of them you touched on. First, the "When did I last"? not only for cleaning but changing toothbrushes, oil changes, wash/vacuum the car, clean the ceiling fans, backup my computer files, update makeup, etc. The other is the seasonal bucket list. Here in AZ, fall is very short and easy to miss. It almost goes from 100 degrees to winter and I didn't want to miss it last year. I built a fall bucket list and did all the fall things - went to a pumpkin patch and an apple orchard, attended a local harvest party, participated in a trunk or treat at church for Halloween, drank pumpkin lattes and had apple cider and pumpkin cake donuts, etc. It made the fall seem to last 3x longer and I had way more fun that I would've without the list.
I do several of these already. I have an entire control journal for the house. I am fighting cancer so found writing out lists each week can hard if having a hard week. So I found a special repositioning glue stick I used when teaching is still available. It makes any paper a postit note. It also refreshes postits that have stopped sticking. I have set up postits that have my lists on them. I then move these to the new weekly page. These are my routine lists, lists of projects for crafts I am working on, and so on. I just reposition these to the new weekly page. For tracking I use stickers that have check boxes for the week. I write what I want to track next to each row of check boxes. On my large plastic book mark I put postits lists that I refer to daily but don't check off. The bookmark just moves to mark the new week. Doing all this reduces writing and speeds up setting up each week. I just have to write appointments in each days section. When make appointments I put them in my phone calendar and copy those to the day in the weekly page. Any appointments that are reoccurring are set to reoccur in the phone. Such as club meetings. Birthdays and anniversaries are yearly recurrences in the phone. Sorry this is so long. This makes life for a 70+ sick person much easier. PS I also plan rest days after treatments and appointments.
Can you post a link to your repositioning glue stick please? ❤️ One of my biggest pet peeves is a non sticky post it note. 😑 TYIA
I'd like the name of it too please :-)
@@kristen_1107 and all wanting name of the, make a postit glue stick: Scotch Restickable Glue Stick. I got mine this spring from Amazon. There were 2 sticks in the pkg, I shared 1 with my college student daughter. It works great. I first used these when I started teaching in the 1970s. Recently I found I could make to do list stickers repositionable by sticking them on a postit or other paper and putting the glue all over the back. Now if I don't finish a small list in one week I can move the list on the postit to the next week in my planner. I am fighting cancer. The week I have treatment I often have to go to bed for a couple of days after. This can really mess up my schedule. Being able to shift a short list really saves energy that rewriting would use up. If a place I used the glue stops sticking I just put a new layer of glue on and use it again. These small lists are easier to complete than the long running to do list in the front of my planner. When a list completes I check it off the running to do and make a new small postit list for the new week.
@@Anne5440_ thank you very much and I'll be praying for you that you beat cancer and feel better very very soon 🙏💛
@@kristen_1107 thanks, it is "stable" and slowly shrinking. Doc says about 12 months more treatment. So I am beating this.
I started planning about 32 years ago, when I got pregnant with my first child. I would keep all their doctors appointments, sports events, school programs, and my appointments as well. My babies are all grown adults now. So, now I plan for me. I have lots of health issues, so I see many doctors and specialists. I love planning.
I’m raising my three grand children ages 17,12,and almost 3. I need my planner to stay on track.
I’m shopping for a new planner for 2023, I’m ready to get started. I have one from Amazon called High Note. It’s actually pretty good. I am also quite impressed with one that a couple in Sweden designed. It’s extremely customizable.it’s called “Personal planner”.
I’ve been using my current planer quite a bit but I want to use my new one even more.
Well, I just wrote all 20 of your ideas to put in your planner, in my planner!
I plan to use many of those ideas. Meal planning is one area I need work in.
I have a section in my planner for favorite quotes or Bible verses.
I am a older lady, In ageing your brain does not work well. I use a planner to keep me on track. Older brains forget alot. A little dementia. Beside it is fun to decorate.
I am so glad that your planners are helping Betty! Thank you for being here. 🤍
Ah Betty, you sound very smart to me!
I am 49 and my brain doesn’t work right either! :) I have ADHD, so I am forgetful and the planner helps a lot. It is my life hack. If I write everything down, people hardest now I’m forgetful. I just can’t lose my notes! And I agree, it is fun to decorate! I order planner stickers from Amazon.
Good lock in your life Betty
@@marlaedington6471 Same here. I’m Neurodivergent & have multiple chronic illnesses so brain fog 😶🌫️ . I call it my “Sanity Book”. So far. Thankfully I haven’t lost my book. I dedicated a specific, easy access, place for it to live when I’m not using it.
I like to keep a visual of what I do at work -,how many patients I treat in a day, due dates for reports that I initiate before they’re due (because I know it will still be my report even though it may not be due for a few more days), meetings I either know I’ll be attending or that I end up attending, details for when I travel for work (so I can be sure to log mileage and travel time), online orders/purchases, Happy Mail I receive (Happy Mail for me is basically anything that isn’t junk mail or a bill 😂), what I ate (or didn’t eat) for dinner, how much water I drank, the weather, noting that I closed my Apple Watch Rings, if I watched or read something I enjoyed, and sometimes I write a quote that I like or I’ll summarize the week. I’m terrible at budgeting and creating/following through with health/fitness, and budget goals so maybe I’ll try to focus a bit more effort on that.
i'm preparing my 2023 planner and i already took 12 ideas from here. i honestly wasn't expecting to get more than 1 or 2 because i've been browsing the internet for more than a week for ideas. you're amazing
Love the tips especially with the sticky note routine idea I’m always changing my routines.
I've tried to plan before never knew what to write. But I am doing this again because I was just diagnosed with gestational diabetes and need to log my levels and what I consume in a day. Also I will be expecting my baby girl in about a month and will need to log her feedings and what not. I figure since I have to write those down I will just add daily journalling for the memories during this time in my life. Hopefully I will keep it going long after my Emma grows up.
I hope your motherhood journey is going well ❤ congrats!!
I love your vibe! I subscribed before I even got to the first tip. I have slowly been getting better at using my planner. This year, I got a Happy Planner and love customizing it. I've added bucket lists, finance tracking sheets, info sheets, and I absolutely love decorating it. It's my favorite creative thing to do and is so calming.
I’ve used other planners, even digital ones and now im back to EC. Im planning in 2022, to get more intentional, connected and grounded!! Great video! Love the ideas! Thanks! I’ll be using some of these!
I am new to functional planning and absolutely love your suggestions.
a brain dump page is super helpful! i personally use the notes app on my phone because i have so many thoughts constantly and would probably use a notebook a month for my brain dump alone. it's great to use for literally any thoughts you have when you don't have time to put them somewhere else. i go through it every 1-2 days and transfer anything important or relevant to the now to my weekly planner, and also move things to where they need to go (eg/ my things to google move to my things to google list and come off my brain dump), generally there's a few things left because they arent important at all and i might be able to do them in the moment (eg/ tell someone something or send a quick text or 5mins jobs) or just do them later when i get to it
For 2023, I'm planning to go on my next level🤗 Hoping to used my planner to be on my top game
Your energy is infectious. Got some good ideas. Great video 🙂
Great video. I love it. I often feel like a a new planner for all the things I want to track.
Just got my first planner so this was perfect!! Great ideas.
@Planner with Laur,I'm 52 & have planned off/on all my life...thanks for your videos I've learned SO much!!
This was thee best....I have created a folder just for you to continue saving your videos. Thanks!
Great video. Love your tips!
You are awesome and I love, love, love your energy. Thank you so much. Very helpful. Thanks for sharing.
That ideal routine idea is GENIUS! Implementing! 🙂
I watch this every once in a while for inspiration. Love it.
In 2022 I am planning nursing school, which I started in January.
Love this video! I'm definitely going to incorporate a few of these ideas into my planner. Especially the sticky note idea, the cleaning tracker, the self-care list, and the "other people's plans" idea. All around, so many great ideas!!
I think it would be kinda cool if you did a video where you elaborated on a couple of the ideas you mentioned, specifically the vision board. I'm really interested in how you would set up a vision board in your planner!
Really great idea! I'd love to dive deeper into the vision board aspect -adding to my list to film!
I plan my writing projects in my planner. Also, that white turtle neck with the sheer sleeves is amazing!
Sooo glad your channel showed up in my algorithm. New subscriber; I could tell immediately that your content, energy and delivery of information is awesome!
Great video, Lauren! It's always good to remind ourselves all the ways our planners can help us track the different aspects of and important things in life.
Absolutely!! Thank you for watching Cynthia 😃
Love this!
I love the gift tracker idea. I also listen all year around just never wrote it down and I've always been huge into planning
Great tips Lauren! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful - any pages you are going to add to your planner?
👏🏾👏🏾Appreciate the suggestions and will incorporate a few in my planning. I am a long-time planner gal. I was late to Downton (just started watching around Christmas 2021) but fell in love with it. Watching The Gilded Age and just finished PBS reimagined Around the World in 80 Days. Love both shows.
A new Downton fan here too! Going to add the rest to my list - thank you! 😁
So many great ideas! Thank you! I recently finished watching Ozark and also loved Emily in Paris.😀
I just started Ozark - No spoilers please 🤣
Thank you for these great ideas. I will use them all. By the way this isy first time watching you. Great information.
Great list! I need to rewatch and write these all down! 😆
I am so glad I watched this video. AMAZING!! Great video.
Great ideas! Thanks!
My son is on a lot of meds. Do I have a list plus the dose and mg. Also I added a address book, coloring pages, and puzzle pages. Yes for myself lol but if one of my children want to do something to pass the time away it’s an option. Also Christmas list’s. This is my first clip of yours that I’ve seen. ( thank you CZcams for suggesting this video) I’m a new fan!!
Love the tips! I've always planned for work but my life is different not as I have terminal cancer and I want to be much more intentional with how I spend my time. Thank you for new ideas to enjoy my best life !
Lisa, I hope the best for you. Having your planner may give you some comfort in having control over your days and keeping track of tasks. Prayers! 💜💜💜
Lisa, I recently lost my mother in law to terminal breast cancer. She lives next door and we were very close.
She was a fighter, and was simply amazing throughout her journey, and I’m sure you are too. She made sure (even before she was sick) to never forget to send cards for birthdays (she called each of her kids, grandkids and me on our birthdays and sang us happy birthday. We didn’t answer on purpose so we could save this on our voicemail). She got cards for each individual family member a year before she passed away and wrote a personal note on each and had her sister pass them out to each of us at her Celebration of Life. (Tears!)
She would order pink breast cancer sugar cookies and bring them to her chemo nurses in October. She also brought them little gifts for always being so caring.
The list goes on and on. I know that she lived life to its very fullest until it was time for God to take her to heaven. The day before, he gave us a rainbow to show us his promise that she would be with him soon.
Take care, don’t be scared, be blessed, and tell your family you love them every day. They will cherish it!
Be blessed! ❤️
Great ideas!
As for me, I'm 22 soon and I don't remember anything, even what I have eaten for a breakfast. I want to put in it all my thoughts that stop me from memorizing new things.
Some new things some old things I really appreciated your ideas
Thank you for the lovely video & ideas! You’re very pretty. I love the natural hair & soft makeup! 🤍
first time coming across your video. loving the way you did your make up.looks gorgeous :)
Thank you for your ideas!
You are so welcome!
New sub. Loved it! Blessings.
Love this video
Love your video, such great ideas. I also keep track of my Bible readings.
Love that!
Definitely all great ideas I want to try the date night one.
It's one of my favorites!
Finally a video with good ideas.
I was looking for inspiration and hacks and all I got were videos where people just showing off their stickers and decoration instead of giving actual good advice.
THIS was useful!! Thank you!
This was awesome. ❤ From the bottom of my little A.D.D. heart Thank You for creating this video!!
You are so welcome friend!
It's the curls that's giving, hunty!!
Thank you so much!!
Thanks for the suggestions! I recommend How I Met Your Father on Hulu and Ghosts on Paramount+ and Emily in Paris and Sweet Magnolias and Virgin River and Madame Secretary on Netflix
Great ideas
😱😱😱 I LOVE YOU!!! Why? You have an Erin Condren Life planner!! I LOVE HER PLANNERS!!! I recently bought my 2023 in September and it was delivered on the first of October! ❤❤❤❤📒📒
Only on number 2 and I’m already learning so much. Thanks! Getting my life in order after having my first baby requires more than just a wall calendar 😅
Yay, so happy to hear you're learning some things! Congrats on your new bundle!
I have really just started to use my planner everyday. Not so sure why except to satisfy a yearning to express myself in away and help me remember things and ideas. Still figuring things out.
I've got tons of content for you, welcome to the planner community!
I love these ideas thanks for sharing! I also like to keep reflection of the day( for this it mostly explains why I picked my mood of the day, it just explains it so I can remember later) and journaling, scrapbooking and guided Journal prompts. I have Fitness and budget guided journals also to help with those two areas that I want and need to improve on and besides regular habit trackers I try to keep track of how much I read and watch in a day including CZcams so I know how much time I'm spending doing those things and for shows to watch I really really enjoyed Manifest and Locke and Key. At first I thought Locke and Key was going to be much more like a young adult show but it was so enjoyable. It took at least a few episodes to get into it, the second and third season were way better than the first in my opinion. Please please let me know if you watch either of those or if you already have then what you thought of them 😊😁🥰
I also have a Faith/ War binder and I have a chronic illness so I keep track of my medications- when I take them, when I need to get the refills so I don't run out and I have a couple of chronically ill pets and I do the same for them and their medications. I keep track of my dad and my husband's medications and appointments as well
i wanna write a book. also, i keep track of my planner and my weekly appointments. Stupid I know but I live with personal care aides and they always forget and bath days another dumb one but hey I live in a group home so a soaking bath to relieve the pain is fun.my suggestion is blechly circle
Love it
Oh you from NYC… hey fellow New Yorker 🙋🏾♀️
My Favorite U-Tuber. Prepare For The Holidays
Wow, thanks!
This is not brand new, but is is awesome good1. Thank you.. I will find some newer video.. Thank you! OH by the way.. I just subscribed ..
Thanks for subscribing!
Watch "Poldark" on Netflix Laur! If you love Downtown you'll be head over heels for Poldark, plus the lead character isn't too bad on the eyes lol! 😂💕
Medication name, dosage when it was refilled and how many pills.
How did you do the stars in your Book Tracker. I can not find a good template. Thank you
To do’s, church stuff and quotes are some additional things we can add to our planners. 😃
I just finished season 2 of Love is Blind. If you haven’t watched the series then I highly recommend it on Netflix! It’s a good mix of romance and drama 😂.
GIRL - Love is Blind is my type of drama - no worries I am all up in it 🤣
Hi! I'm new to the Planner World and am looking for ideas!❤
I’m using my planner for my Spanish classes and finances. I would suggest watching Tinder Swindler and Inventing Anna.
OHH adding to my list!
Things that make you happy.
Favorite songs and singers.
Favorite quotes.
Favorite Bible verses.
Favorite stores and for what.
Did you say a mood tracker? Exercise / fitness planner?
I definitely use my planner to avoid forgetting important obligations , especially those that aren’t specifically mine - like my kids extracurriculars.
Great video!
Thank you! 😋 So great that your planner is helping you!
I want to add my pet expenditures and vaccinations. I started with one cat and now I have three. They are a bit persnickety about their food so I need to keep track of what they like and don't like. I also don't want to overspend on cat toys.
Oh my word, my girlie will be 5 in Dec & I never even thought of that!! Now I live with my best friend of 40 yrs next month & my mother & my husband!! Long story....ya think I might should do better...lol
In terms of TV shows, I highly recommend The Gilded Age, White Lotus, and Euphoria on HBO!
Have not watched any of them - will have to add them to my list!
Loved White Lotus. Will have to watch the others. Thanks Marilyn
O, I have yet to buy my planner for this year 😮😊
AH!!! What are you in between buying?
Vet appointments - "Gotcha days" for the rescues
I have tried planners for so many years but my problem is the follow through. For 2024, I got a Jobun Techo, and a lot of the stuff that you're talking about looks like stuff in different pages in the planner. Are you familiar with that one?
I'M HERE ON 2023 AND AI'M REALLY EXCITEEEDD
This is a great video! Please watch , The Flight Attendant
where is The Flight Attendant found?
I have searched for how other people keep up with their purchases and the tracking on the packages in their planner. Do you have any ideas that you can share with me?
I’m planning so I can stop forgetting everything until months later when it’s too late.
Video starts at 1:35
I loved these tips. They felt original, or at least newly framed. Excited to see more of your content.
Also, fond the time stamps in the descriptions. :D
I literally started the happy planner years ago and still can’t figure out what to add or put in it. I stay so lost,, so much money goes wasted on this planner stuff! I also have bad depression and ADD.
my time management needs help!
I don’t want to waste time
To be honest I need to organize myself and track my financial status.
You spelled recispies wrong in hint #14!😅

Depression is more manageable with a plan
So is ADHD. Writing things down is a life hack and then people don’t know how forgetful I am!
How do you use your manner to help with your depression? Thanks.
