@warviking7647 I find them with long travel for 3-5k all day where I'm at and that's cheap when it comes to side by sides, the latest and greatest is like 70k these days
Challenge option: I think you should put each quad on the chip and see which one lasts the longest before they let go. Last man standing gets double the points.

you should set a 1k budget on the cheap sleds for upgrades and fix them up in the fall. In the meantime pick up some cheap dirt-bikes and do a cheap bike challenge.

Love the cheap challenge. I am not a sxs guy. Mainly cause I can’t afford one. So the cheap challenge is what I ride on a daily basis. The sled challenge is what brought me to your channel. And like I said love the cheap challenges.
How about a cheap go cart challenge and you can modify the engines as long as you stay in budget.

I would like to see a semi cheap quad challenge to follow this one up, like $3-4000 budget.. enough to find something decent and have enough to modify some things. $1500 just doesn’t get you much these days. Also, a cheap pit bike challenge or cheap rally car challenge doesn’t sound too bad either.

Cheap Go-Kart challenge.
You each have to build your own Go-Kart to compete in various pre-determined challenges/races/etc. Everyone has a budget of some X amount, however everyone must use the same engines (ideally all new so its fair). So your budget goes into building everything else around the engine (frame, steering, wheels, gearing, etc).
Matt endlessly bouncing that King Quad until the GoPro falls off!! Winner of entertainment.
I'd be using the rear grab bar or rack so the strap would put extra weight on the rear tires and help with traction quite a bit.
Matt should have been the All Star of that challenge because how he made his Quad work on the last pull

That exposed primary clutch brought back some traumatic memories. I lost my pants at LBL OHV area on a KFX 700 my starter gave up. I did the same thing. The only difference is, I was taking it back to the truck and moved my leg just right to where my pants went into the primary it ripped my pants & my boxers, clean off I just went back to the truck full commando it added a whole new meaning to the ride of shame.
