Solid machines! 4 of these and 2 shuttle presses allowed us to grow 10 years. Now we have enormous roller presses. Totally different ball game. These dk's have since been retired to individual houses where they are still rolling
Thanks I did find some but in the big rolls. The movement is an issue with the auto only when doing sublimation. I use a spray tack that works great though
Yes I had to move the compressor to another room. Works much better. I shouls have purchased a larger compressor and a quite one. Would have been worth it. I also had a air leak from my hose not being tight and that caused the compressor to keep coming on. I really like the press now but there are a few things you might like in this video.
Thank you for doing these videos, like the previous gentlemen said, actually doing some work with the press. Because of your first video on the DK20SP I was all ready to put the money on the table for this press but that smudging issue stopped me in my tracks. Geo Knight is coming out with an upgrade to this press that moves the top platen instead of the bottom. I'm wondering if this is the reason why or is it as you've stated, that it is because of the PSI setting. I'll do further research. I need to know that this is not going to ruin my work.
The issue with sublimation printing is that you get a ghosting effect if your paper moves. The movement can happen with any press, but even more so with automatic presses. It doesn't matter what part of the press moves. Since this is my first auto I had to learn the press. You have to release the moisture from the press daily. I also had to figure out the correct psi settings & tempa for each type of material and product I press. Its all a learning curve and has nothing to do with the press. Your suppose to tape or spray your sublimation prints so they don't move and I did neither in the video. Sublimation inks are the only ones that can cause this issue.
Thank you LaTonna for cleaning that up for me. I am totally new to this and don’t have experience in dealing with sublimation issues. Looking forward to catching more videos on this press and your t-shirt business.
I was really close to pulling the trigger on the Hotronix air press. So glad I found this review! GN is local to me. Do you know if they offer customer pick up?
Check out the new updated video over the Geo Knight press. I have moved the compressor to another room to cut down on the sound czcams.com/video/kSndXyik7Nc/video.html
I have used both presses and they are the same with the exception to the automatic button. The reason I went with the auto is because I have back issues. So for that it wasxworth it for me. The geoknight is a heavy press. Even with the automatic button to close the press you still have to swing it manually and that can get tiresome. I like the press overall . It increases my productivity and decreased user fatigue. If you using the press all day you might want a fully automatic with swing away capabilites. Here are the cons. You will need a compressor. So factor in another $200 and you might need a dedicated breaker to run it on. The auto open feature is not the best for sublimation products. If your transfer sheet moves you will get ghosting. Adhesive is a must, it will keep your dye sub transfers from moving. It takes a minute to get use to adjusting the pressure and if the compressor doesn't work or goes bad we'll the press won't work. Would I but it again? 🤔 yes, geoknight customer service is great and my back does not ache when using the press
Finally !!! Someone actually using a heat press rather than talking about it and never going through the motions !! Thanks !!!
You are amazing, thank you.

This is an informative knowledge anyone can appreciate. I appreciate the time you took to educate me abd orhers on the heat press
You can use the sublimation tacky paper to resolve the problem with having the immage moving

Loud as hell! But in all honesty, your video is the most upfront and honest which allows people to make an educated decision. Thank you

@@ladyprintboss I've own that press for over 20years. Great press. .
Hello do you think it is worth the $1,024 extra bs the manual version dk20s
