  • Hi fellow dog lover!đŸ¶ My dog Billie had so many behavior problems
she was jumping, peeing inappropriately, overly aggressive, pulling on the leash
 she was just crazy
đŸ€Ș Then I found this one solution that stopped all the problems!🙌 The sad fact was
The training I first tried with my dog was a complete fai...lure.😔 I went through the average cookie-cutter training programs. These programs used outdated and ‘mean’ dominance techniques. It turns out those programs had no qualifications and were developed by complete phonies.đŸ˜± So this is what I did to stop my dog’s behavior problems... In a few simple words
 I discovered my dog’s hidden intelligence!🧠
    Let me explain
In my years as a dog owner
this is the one big lesson I have learned. More intelligent dogs are better behaved.👍 A more intelligent dog takes commands easier
and understands what you need from them. What I found out was
No matter how clever I thought my dog was. I could still unlock my dog’s hidden intelligence quickly and easily!😄 Don’t waste a second longer putting up with your dog's behavior problem! I’ll explain everything you need to know in the link!😁

Pomsky Dog Breed Guide | Dogs 101 - Pomeranian Husky Mix
Fluffy, adorable and lovely. These are only a few words to describe the Pomsky. Many believe that this dog is a large breed. Some even fear their temperament. Little do they know how loving and affectionate they really are. Dog enthusiasts and breeders are clamoring all over this dog because of its intelligence. Aside from their beautiful looks, they can easily learn commands if you take time to train them.
Famous as they are, these creatures are prone to having irresponsible owners. Because of their irresistible nature, millions of individuals want to have a Pomsky as a pet. However, they are far from ready to provide for their needs. Which is why some dogs are left at the dog pound or in the streets. Small as they are, Pomskies are pretty high maintenance. So, do you have what it takes to care for them?
Today, let's look into one of the most famous and irresistible designer dogs- the Pomsky. Is caring for them high maintenance? Tune in to find out.

Had a Pomsky named Jerome. He was my best friend and he had a very distinct personality. Really showed a lot of emotions and curiosity. If I ever get another dog, it will probably be another pomsky. Also, if you're thinking about getting one, they do need a lot of attention. But sometimes that just means being with them. Further, they don't shed too bad at all so long as you brush them and get them groomed. Jerome, if you're reading this, I hope you're happy :)

As an owner of a Pomsky I also would like to stress that they are extremely high maintenance and energetic - not a fantastic choice for a first time dog owner. If you aren’t ready to walk a dog for hours a day, don’t get a Pomsky. A pet is not a toy or an accessory. :)

@N1THYA only if you think they are an accessory and not an animal that has needs that need to be RESPECTED not treated like a TOY.
We have a 15 year old STANDARD pure breed Pom. Who we allow to BE a DOG as well as a Family member and a cherished FRIEND.
He is HAPPY, LOVING, AND PROTECTIVE OF OUR WHOLE FAMILY.... AND THAT INCLUDES A KITTEN THAT JUST ADOPTED US THIS SPRING.... HE IS WELL ADJUSTED AND UNDERSTANDS IF YOU RESIDE IN OUR HOUSE YOUR FAMILY AND ARE TREATED AS SUCH.

im getting a pomsky but i have one question. can I take them for walks in the summer? because huskies don't do well in hot places and a pomsky is half husky so I was wondering if that was okay or not.

I spent the day with a Pomsky female who was in town with her owner on a business trip. Her owner was in meetings all day so I took her to my home and we spent most of the day cuddling and taking naps. She curled up right next to me and slept on her back! I had never seen a dog like this before and now I am obsessed with this breed. She was smart and sophisticated. On the metro, she leapt into my lap in the daintiest, most skillful manner. It was so classy! She loved to be petted and she leaned her head on my shoulder. It was very obvious that she didn't like being away from her owner and she enthusiastically ran to her as soon as we got back to their hotel. I fed her tiny little pieces of dehydrated duck meat treats and she had two tiny toys that she was only mildly interested in. Her fine white fur got all over my place, but I hardly mind. Dirt Devil makes excellent attachments for vacuuming up pet hair. Someday I hope that I am worthy of my own Pomsky.

Currently have a pomsky... Blake. As a pup, these guys can be escape artists and mine had horrible separation anxiety. After the first year or so, she calmed down tremendously and adjusted to my routine. She grew to full size at 12lbs, definitely not as big as I thought she'd be... but overall the sweetest pup I've ever had. If I had to do it again, I probably would have gotten another pup from her litter. I truly think a 1 dog household isn't right for pomskies, I would totally get two and raise them together.

I got my first Pomsky after I lost my chihuahua to kidney failure. I can’t tell you how much Wiley, my Pomsky, helped me cope with the loss of my chihuahua. He’s an amazing little guy with a huge personality. We just got our second Pomsky because I just fell in love with the breed after getting Wiley. They’re a great breed for companionship.. but they’re high maintenance. They’re pretty intelligent, so they’re good at getting into things they shouldn’t be.
They’re an eye catching breed. Every time we bring Wiley and Juno anywhere.. people always ask what breed they are.

If she gets out the door she will not come when called (Husky) trait. It took an hour to to get her back in the mountains.

My pomsky is the love of my life! His name is De Niro named after my favorite actor ROBERT DE NIRO, he’s 2 years old, and we adore him! As some of the owners stated, he is very high maintenance, extremely energetic, and does love lots of attention. He almost never barks unless someone is literally on our property or rings our door bell, and he LOVES babies and kids. Unfortunately he does shed a whole lot so you’ll need a good vacuum because a swiffer won’t cut it! I have a iroomba so it’s ok. Oh and he doesn’t like anyone hugging or kissing him too much! He literally runs! But he does LOVE his belly rubs. All in all he’s perfect and we love him to death. I couldn’t have picked a better fur-baby than him❀

This is such a pessimistic view on an incredible breed. If you're a true dog lover and take the time to train your Pomsky you'll have one of the best dogs that you could ever own. I truly hate videos like this which refer to owners that will not spend time with their pets. A dog is an addition to your family which needs just as much time and attention as a child. If you're not willing to put in the time then you'll end up with a problematic dog no matter what the breed.

I like these videos for that exact reason. Far too many people go out and get a dog or any animal for that matter and think it is literally a walk in the park. I'd much rather have people too scared or afraid of the responsibility than what we have now, where thousands of animals are being returned to shelters.

      @@sw33tnezz05 Ha, lazy.
They actually eat less than other big breeds due to being so placid. And they are wonderful with kids and just generally sweet and mellow. Especially the first girl and the current girl we've had. Our current girl is still a puppy, so she likes to play and is excitable of course, but her favorite thing to do is curl up on an air vent and enjoy the AC while napping.
They do shed and drool, and do need some bigger spaces to play in, but have such gentle and friendly personalities generally.
Plus Saint Bernard puppies are the fluffiest things ever, and our girl knows she is cute and gets and loves all the attention when out in public.

My pomsky is one of the best dogs I ever got! My pomsky is only 8 lbs, so shes little. She is so entertaining! My only problem with her is she likes to wake up and play at night. My cat and pomsky get into a lot of mischief at night. They chase eachother through the house. Other then that, she is super fun. I recommend anyone who have the time and love pets to get one. Your never short on entertainment, thats for sure.

1, you said they need regular checkups. Does that mean like every month or few months? Or more often than that?
2, in summer the heat can get bad to the point the concrete path gets hot. Would they be okay if they wore shoes or is there some other way to protect their paws?

Adopt a dog from a shelter instead, there’s so many amazing dogs waiting for a loving home. I work with dogs and one is a Pomsky, they’re annoying little things, not worth the money. Huskies on the other hand are amazing dogs and if you do your research you should find one in a shelter, have a look on Facebook for Husky Rescue (and then your country).
