4:34 The combat should be so forgiving that no matter what strategy/moveset you pick, you will _[eventually]_ take down the enemy, but reward choosier players who pull off the right moves at the right time with faster takedowns. I feel Frontiers already basically does this, but it needs to be turned up several notches, maybe dial up the presentation a little, going all SA2 on us with flying, colorful text and bonus points.

The last great 3d sonic was Generations which came out 13 years ago
The other 3d sonics aren't bad, but they aren't great.

Didn’t you say you hadn’t tried out Frontiers yet? I’d recommend trying it out if you get the chance. It’s different. A lot of people love it, and I lot of people hate it, but it’s definitely worth trying out. I really enjoyed Frontiers a lot, despite having some flaws that hopefully get ironed out in future games.
