The best thing about these grinders, is that they will fit through most gates. Customers don't like the idea of tearing down part of their fence to grind stumps. I used the 4 wheel model, I think it was called Max, and you didn't have to do anything but move the levers. I was the stump grinding man. If I could find that same machine, I would buy it. Back in the 80's, I think my boss paid $14,000 for his, great machine.

Wen i do stump grinding here in the qeer old corrupt UK 🇬🇧 i always dig down around the stump to remove any stones and other material that will impede the grinding and cause stones to fly and stop the destruction of the cutting teeth before they would before this procedure

If you don't go down far enough when you take down a tree, you'll have wasp/carpenter bees living in the tree roots for years. I know this from experience.

Pretty nice unit for a tiny one, but I do like the pivot on the frame option that alot do not have. You have to swing the whole Damm unit back and forth instead of this unit just swinging the head!!! Would be interested in giving one a go!!

For those of you that don't know any better, that machine is an instrument of torture. You have to muscle it across the face of the stump and roots as the vibration rattles your tooth fillings loose. If you think you're gonna be done in 10 minutes, think again. If you're gonna grind some stumps, either get it done by a professional or rent a Baretto with a large cutting wheel that's moved hydraulically.

  • @daveborchard2019

The music was horrible! I bet it’s pretty expensive to have a large stump like that grinded. It would probably take many to burn a stump that large.

If they r gonna make a how to video they should know how to do it,. First off. U DNT bite that big. U take a bout a quarter of they top n stay on top whole time when u get deep into a cut u have more of ur blade touching and that just slows ur wheel down takeing all ur power away. U want to cut with only bottom part of ur grinder. Trust me. Lol
