What is ASMR? In case you are wondering, ASMR is a physical sensation characterised by a pleasurable tingling that typically begins in the head and scalp. It is commonly triggered by soft or accented voices, personal attention, ambient sounds or watching people work silently.

I know I might sound crazy, but to really conceal your dark circles you should apply orange concealers and to cancel the blue, and the on top of thar your foundation or beige concealer. That really works for me when my dark circles look bad. You're great! And beautiful! All my support from Argentina!!

You have NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT! You are truly so amazingly beautiful in the beginning of the video without ANY makeup on. I'm not saying with makeup you don't look nice, but I'm one that likes girls with less makeup and you can truly pull off wearing none and know you still look beautiful, both inside and out😍. Your original makeup video was my all time asmr favourite! When you were gone I was always thankful that someone had uploaded a copy that I could watch. It was actually by looking that video up (as usual) that I'd realised you were back! So this is a real treat. Thank you :)
If you ever want extra help covering dark circles (I have them bad too) try an orange contour shade or correcting concealer. The warmth cancels out the cool, dark tones under the eyes!
It's amazing how self conscious women are without makeup. And yet that's just a normal day for men.

+Brok Homz Most men are obsessed with how their beards look, their physique, their hair/no hair etc. What to wear, what shoes to have, and indeed some wear make-up too. Guy-liner is a huge trend in Europe. Men like to look good as much as women do and are just as self conscious. Let's be honest. :)

Also I really understand the "dead feeling" I'm extremely pale with neutral tones. A good setting powder, an array of blushes, and using pink or rosy eyeshadows help too. Your lips are totally on point!! Love you 💗

BTW you should try using an orange correcting concealer if you would like to minimize the appearance of dark circles under the eyes. I know that sounds crazy (orange concealer?) but I'm telling you you'll be amazed! Although your beautiful without makeup, I know how us girls just love to wear it! I learned that if you want to cover blue under the eyes, use orange concealer to cancel it out, since blue is the opposite color of orange on a color wheel. Just like how we use green to cancel out redness on our face! Hence: green is the color opposite of red on the color wheel LOL. I hope you give it a try since you said its one of your main concerns! ...just thought I'd give a helpful tip! Love your videos keep up the good work!

And I've also got those hereditary dark circles, I've had them since I was a baby and it is due to facial anatomy

I work as a makeup artist so I understand how you feel when you say you feel more confident when wearing makeup, but it only enhances natural beauty which you have in abundance :) using a salmon toned concealer or even a reddy orange colour is amazing for dark circles under foundation if they start to irritate you, but honestly, I think you look lovely and fresh faced as you are. Am I the only one that's simply blown away at how well you do your eyeliner?? I just sat her absolutely amazed at how precise you are at it! I've always been so terrible at trying to do eyeliner with eyeshadow haha. I usually end up making a huge mess and it looking like an even huger mess by the end of the day. The only eyeliner I could ever master was the liquid kind that was like a fine tip felt pen.

I can see that you really do feel uncomfortable being in front of a camera without any makeup, but you shouldn't. I'm not gonna tell you it's "because you're pretty just the way you are" because it's a cliche and you know you do, but because, at least I think id feel like it, you are "free", just like when I let my hair go (I have long hair)

I, like many of the commenters on here, just want to a say that you're a lovely lady and just want to thank you for taking the time to make these videos. Although I forced myself to stay awake just to see this one till the end, I use your asmr videos several times throughout the week to fall asleep. (They are also especially helpful when I have a migraine to relax and doze off instead of lay awake in pain!) So thanks again and I cannot wait to see your next one!

Also - try a salmon coloured concealer under your eyes. It neutralises any blue colouring and makes you look awake instantly. It really works!

There must be a thousand other ways to tell Marianne how valuable she is without even TALKING about how. She. Looks. The fact that an intelligent, creative, compassionate, articulate, talented young woman like Marianne feels uncomfortable without makeup on, is because we as a society STILL talk about looks constantly as though that is what matters in a woman when in fact it means less than nothing. Don't tell Marianne she's "STILL beautiful without makeup". Tell her she's incredible at what she does. Tell her she's well spoken and imaginative. Tell her she seems kind or authentic or strong. Because those are real compliments. Whether or not YOU - a random stranger - think she's pretty is completely and utterly irrelevant and in fact reduces her to an object. We have to stop talking about how women look. All of us. How a woman LOOKS doesn't matter. Who people ARE - how they walk through the world - how they can contribute and how they treat others is what matters. Unless you are dating a woman - how she looks is none of your business and it's an insult to suggest that what YOU think of her face/skin/hair/eyes matters. It doesn't. Stop telling women they are pretty. It presumes that YOUR idea of what is pretty is a compliment. It's not. Here is a compliment: Marianne - your videos are wonderful because you put so much thought and care into them. You are creative and talented and intelligent and your videos have been helpful to me at times when I've needed help sleeping. Makeup or no makeup - however you feel best in your skin is wonderful -but most importantly- you are wonderful at ASMR and we thank you for making these videos for us.
It's fine with me if you disagree - and I appreciate you not turning it into a hatefest and at least explaining your perspective with tact. I did not say that nobody ever compliments her on the "right" things - I said that telling someone they are pretty isn't really a compliment and isn't relevant unless you are romantically involved. In all honesty why should Marianne - or any woman - CARE if a stranger likes how they look? What does it have to do with anything? Im not the first person to delve into this perspective - it's a fairly common feminist perspective. This isn't really about Marieanne specifically but about how much it hurts my heart when a woman feels uncomfortable about her looks - ever. Because how we LOOK only matters when it comes to dating and sex and only SHOULD matter to the person we are dating or having sex with. It doesnt matter anywhere else. It doesn't matter what a dude on the street thinks of my ass - it doesn't matter what my boss thinks of my dress. It doesn't matter what my friends think of my skin. Do you see what I mean? Appearance should not be relevant in social settings. You may think a woman is beautiful - and that's great. But unless she is interested in you romantically - she doesn't need to hear how YOU think her physical appearance ranks her. Most people like compliments - but deep down compliments about our physical appearance - especially from strangers - feels weird. Even YOU said deep down you think people are LYING to you. That says a LOT about how weird we are with each other when we talk about how we LOOK. Particularly women, and the way we talk to each other and to little girls. "Your hair is so pretty! Your dress is so cute!" Great - but also - why the fuck do those things MATTER? They don't. It's fine to say those things but sadly when it comes to women it's almost ALL we say to and about them. We talk about women's looks constantly. And it reduces women to objects. It's that simple. And we should be trying harder to send women - especially young ones - the message that who they are in their SOUL is what matters. Then maybe someday someone like Marianne - who has so many gifts and wonderful traits - won't feel "uncomfortable" with her own face. WE have made women think that OTHERS finding them beautiful is what matters about them. And it's bullshit. And we can do better. So next time you want to tell a girl she's pretty - ask yourself if there is ANY other way you can compliment her - because there are a thousand other ways. And ALL of them are more important than how she looks.

I didn't watch this video because I'm a guy and don't wear makeup but I just wanted to write a suggestion. you are my favorite asmrtist and I think you have the most beautiful voice and accent ever! All of your videos are wonderful and are great for relaxing before bed.
That said, you should be proud of how you look without makeup. I am a truly pale person naturally, it is nothing to be bothered by. People come in all shades and they're all lovely. It is a little sad to think a person as beautiful as you could ever think she didn't look good. Love yourself and you will see the beauty everyone else already sees.

It was very confident of you to show your bare face even without feeling entirely comfortable with it, and it's also great that you always present yourself however you're most comfortable. Foundation has always been hard for me too. I'm so pale that the porcelain shade is too dark. I actually mix my foundation with white Halloween face paint to fit my skin lol
I don't know if this will help but The Body Shop does have a product called "lightening drops" and you add them to a fountain to make it as close to your shade as possible it's helped me out a lot because I'm very pale too!! I recommend looking up thataylaa here on CZcams she reviews it and I think suggests other products similar and does really good pale fountain videos!!

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, and I know it often sounds crazy to people who've never tried it - but an orange tone concealer works best to counteract blue tones in the skin. It might be something to try but honestly, you're beautiful regardless :)
girl clinique makeup is really good but I really advice you to buy a foundation with a pump cause they're more hygienic 😌 a very relaxing video tho
put the eyeliner in the freezer to harden up and it'll be easier to sharpen
answering your description box question regarding PO Box , I have seen some youtubers who complain about receiving some weird packages so they canceled it but it depends on you to ignore and throw them away and just focus on the good ones from the people who really send you appreciation gifts

great video ! ..... a tip for dark circles : if you use a peach corrector before your concealer it will help with the coverage and wearability of your make up
