Some economists have projected that both the U.S. and parts of Europe could slip into a recession for a portion of 2023. A global recession, defined as a contraction in annual global per capita income, is more rare because China and emerging markets often grow faster than more developed economies. Essentially the world economy is considered to be in recession if economic growth falls behind population growth.

It seems like he is trying to answer the question (Is China a good investment?) by listing the most important problems and risks in China, which he does. He says 25% of the economy is real estate, and the majority of savings (the number is 70% btw which is nuts) is in real estate, that's a huge issue, he talks about the debt crisis and how deep rooted it is, it's insane. He mentions the authoritarian crackdowns on the tech industry (but doesn't mention the larger scale crackdowns on many other industries), he mentions covid (and again this is huge, China is fucked they can't open up because their vaccines are not effective against these newer strains and they have almost no natural immunity in the population because of draconian hardcore lock downs last and this year.) He mentions the demographic problem (which will decimate China worse than any other country.
He actually does answer the question well, the answer is ; Listen here are these immense, insurmountable problems, four or five of them, what do you think is China a good investment? Of course it's not. But I have invested billions in it, (and so has Blackrock, the largest investment entity in the world, their advice was to TRIPLE DOWN on China) and so I can't tell people the truth or else I lose, in fact the whole western world will lose trillions if people realize how fucked China is in the long term.

To deal with this unstable world...buy land be self sufficient, a wood lot for heat ,a spring for sweet drinking water , stone for building, straight conifers for building, a portable saw mill, a small truck , lots of wild game , raise a few goats chicken beefers and you got this covered.

I've said for years that basing inflation numbers on durable goods was idiotic. My kids can't eat a toaster, go see how much milk has gone up. Luckily corporate America bases their increases on the CPI number, so the CEOs are doing okay.. Comes down to the question, where else should I put money besides the financial market?

Having an investment adviser is the best way to go about the market right now, especially for near retirees, I've been in touch with a coach for awhile now mostly cause I lack the depth knowledge and mental fortitude to deal with these recurring market conditions, I nettd over $220K during this dip, that made it clear there's more to the market that we average joes don't know.

The basics he talks about need to be delved into further.
    1. The education system is based on Victorian Era of creating obedient workers.
    2. The working class can't save because the central bankers use Inflation and Debt to steal any chance of accumulating savings. They print and buy up real assets. Pass on debt and reduced purchasing power to the middle class.
He says nothing about creating real jobs, building real things in America, and helping the country of his birth. The focus is where "he" can "invest" his capital. Not creating a better USA with investment here, not in communist controlled CCP China.
