We stumble across a narrowboat on Facebook with terrible photos uploaded by the seller!
Could this mean a potential houseboat that has had minimal interest?
I absolutely adore this boat but will Becca feel the same???

Wow, just came across you two ... I'm going to need a coffee to keep up! Semi-Trads are great, we have one and its best of both worlds. Interesting it seemed to have electric heating - very unusual... you'd need to change that if you intend to go cruising!.... make sure you see lots of different ones - the boat will choose you! Thanks Rob, yeah we’ve been told the heaters on this boat could be hazardous and use a lot of energy so we’d be taking them out, the boat it turns out used to be a cruiser according to a marina we spoke to, and they converted it to a semi trad, we have both found a new love for semi trads, they are definitely our favourite now, thanks for comment we’re so excited to join you all on the rivers and canals 😀
Semi trad I think is the best, just subscribed to your channel three days after you found your boat look forward to some fun and games with you guys on the canals, let's go 😀😂👍
Thanks Charlie , we never thought we would end up with a semi trad, they seamed a bit more expensive, but we seam to have stumbled across a beauty. There the best of both worlds, and I love the extra storage you get for phones, wallets and vlogging cameras just in front off you, thanks for your sub and comments we love to hear what other boaty people think :)

Is the bedding gonna smell of every meal you cook? Perhaps that trellis needs to be replaced by a solid wood wall? Looks nice though. Consider the higher license, marina and blacking costs for 60 foot. Also check you’re giving your money to the right person (real owner). Bloody good luck, you’ve waited a while, I hope this works out. Seems cheapish, so check the age of it and consider how long that lump of steel has been sitting in water (steel’s nemesis).
Yes Becca actually said she would want to put a proper board up as it would end up smelling off food, there are a few parts that could do will updating, like all the boats at this price range, we would have probably gone for a slightly smaller one but again at this time is so hard to find anything in our price range with a good hull, Thanks for you advise, were slowly learning more and more with each failed boat attempt haha :)

Did you get this surveyed before you bought it?
We ended up taking a bit of a gamble with it, we done some research and spoke to the previous surveyor who was quite well known who had carried one out about 18 months ago, it’s risky but we’re prepared to pay the price if there is work that needs doing to it. We broke the first rule of buying a narrowboat , we are going to do a video on it soon explaining everything, thanks for your comment 😀
