I've heard that one before and I love it. It would explain why sometimes (mostly when their alone I've noticed, there could be other times) they work together and act like friend nad actually work together really well.

Biggest hole in the rugrats theory, is that you have to assume a three year old knows what abortion, stillbirth, and vehicular manslaughter is.
Not to mention there are several episodes Angelica isn't even in, and many times when Angelica isn't around if she is in the episode. Also there's All Grow'd Up. You'd think if she was having neurotic mental processing issues, someone would notice it by the time she was nearing adulthood and get her into therapy. If she's still imaging her dead cousins and friends at 15/17 years old... and no one's saying anything about it?? And that's not even mentioning the other people who play with the Rugrats.

@@erinjoyner3739 Yeah, but I actually always thought in regard to Courage the Cowardly Dog that one of the bigger and better theories I've heard. One that actually makes sense. The theory of them actually being dead and in purgatory, not on Earth but also not in Hell, and Courage was Muriel's dog in life and now all these monsters come around from Earth, that are actual people, and he protects Muriel and Eustice from them.
The one about the rugarts is really sad and, I'm not going to lie, downright depressing.

Yeah but that was during the final season and if I remember right, the "Purgatory Theory" came out before that season. As for Ed's mom being shown, it was in a dream sequence the first time her image was used and the second time was her arm pulling Ed by his ear during the Report Card Episode

A Christmas episode was pretty much required production in any popular cartoon of the era. Christmas episodes can always be counted on to sell ad space. But I do love the idea of Flintstones being in the future. That's the feeling you might get when you read the Flintstones Comics that came out just a few years ago. So, I think it's plausible. (And who cares it's really amusing!)

If Jurassic Park is anything to go by maybe if that theory is true they figured out how to make living dinosaur clones by finding some useful dinosaur DNA somehow. Also if applying real life to this dinosaurs and humans didn't exist at the same time.-
The "it's just a figment of imagination" theories are on par with Dallas' "Dream Season"; a lazy explanation/approach that can make an audience feel cheated. It's lame.

All those cartoon fan theories so shocking, they're enough to make me want to say to myself even if they're not confirmed, "Because of all these cartoon fan theories I don't feel like I'm a fan of anyone or anything real or not real." Because the more I cover up my anxiety disorders about cartoon/anime franchises, let alone pop culture (regarding film, tv, music, etc.) in general the more they appear.

Yes he definitely needs them and it explains why they have to age out and give up the fairies after a curtain age.
It's also explained Trixie tang's friend if you pay attention to the characters all the human characters don't have pupils but fairies do which means Trixie wished that her fairy god parent would be her best friend and explains why Veronica is so dippy.

Samuria Jack, the narrator even admits that cartoon network likes to through in cameos in different tv shows and we see jack as a little kid living in feudal times... Wall-E, the fact that they litaraly show us the conspiracy on board the human ship meaning that the company knows the robots would never be able to clean the planet and so much time passed. thinks get old and breakdown.... Pinky and the Brain, it is proven in a court of law that the Brain is a genius mouse... Rugrats, the rugrats literally grow up. Courage The Cowrdly dog, the monsters cause damge and lasting effects to people outside of courages knowledge.....everysingle its "all in thier heads theory" The fairly odd parents, pokemon, etc is just lazy conspiracy theory... others could be true since I dont know enough to debunk them.
@@Hater20X This reminds me of the dumb Adventure Time Finn coma theory. It says that Finn is in a comatose dream land where he and his pet dog live in a heroic fantasy. Sounds almost reasonable if it wasn't that Finn ages in real time and the "fantasy" land has a post apocalyptic backstory. Add to it that Finn's human family was revealed to be somewhat (originally) normal on a secluded island chain near it's final season. If somebody was in perfect fantasy why would they include those details.

The king of the hill one is farfetched, Bill was known as a badass back in the day and even the star of his football team. It was not until later in his life when his wife left him had he began to seem to become a loser.
Also look at Cotton... My head canon is that the reason Cotton likes Bobby is he looks like him and reminds him of himself in some ways.

I guess you never watched Pinky and the Brain… In one episode the Brain got the closest to succeeding at his plan to take over the world, and Pinky messes it up. The Brain gets mad and says “if I didn’t know any better Pinky, I would think you did this on purpose” (or something like that) The camera pans over to Pinky and he says in a genius accent and tone admitting he did without Brain hearing him, and then Pinky laughs.

Brain is always trying to take over the world, and every time he fails, only to try again the next night. So, according to the theme song, one is a genius, and the other's insane. Thus... Brain is the insane one, making Pinky as the genius.

I prefer the “Dil is autistic” theory instead of the “All in Angelica’s imagination” theory. The theory states that Dil, Tommy’s little brother, has autism. Proof is his poor communication skills, in which neither the adults nor the babies can understand him when he tries to talk. Also, in All Grown Up Dil can be understood when he talks but he behaves in such a way that displays clear signs of Asperger’s Syndrome, which is a type of autism
I think toy story 3 is more of an allegory for death. Being owned and loved by a kid is life, the attic is purgatory, the daycare is heaven (which is not what is seems) the dump is hell, and being given to a new kid is reincarnation.

That rumour is something like Dil is the only one that survived and Angelica doesn't understand why he isn't like the others which is why he doesn't talk or stuff. It's a well thought out theory but it is easily proven wrong at the same time.

The "where are the parents" thing always comes from someone with both parents.
That's the most common - but not the regular.
More often than not, a percentage of children will loose one, or both their parents whence growing up - thus watching these shows and feeling somewhat (yet depressingly) represented.

In regards to the Spongebob Deadly Sins theory, I always thought that Squidward better personifies Pride in his natural state: all of his artwork features himself, and he always has the mindset that he's the best thing to happen under the ocean since canned bread. Wrath might be a possibility, but Pride defines him more than it does Sandy by far. Patrick also might be a double dipper in the sins department, as both Sloth and Gluttony define his character in equally prominent measure.
Aside from that, some of these theories are easily debunked.
The Rugrats one: if Angelica truly is the catalyst for the portrayed adventures, why would they show ANY episodes where she isn't in it? In addition, I give you All Growed Up as the ultimate nail in the coffin there.
The Ed, Edd, 'n' Eddy one: their parents and relatives WERE shown, if only in later episodes. Not only that, but I doubt that purgatory would manifest physical pain as is often shown in any given episode.

I give the crane game episode as an example, where Spongebob was masterfully skilled but didn't publicly show off these skills, whereas Squidward gets one prize (after literally selling off his house and having Spongebob give him pointers) and rubs it in the face of a kid who tries and fails once.
