Vileplume 48 well, they made it more historically accurate which was a big problem people had about the film. Did I have hesitations? Yes, at the beginning. Did I go to NYC just to see it after obsessing for months? YES. But, you know, that’s my opinion...
@@vileplume5927 I enjoyed it for what it was. The politics added a different dimension to it instead of Rasputin which I enjoyed. But that could be the history major in me talking. I love the movie and the broadway for different reasons.
Yes! Thank you for posting! Saw Laura perform this in Chicago last year (perhaps you don't recall meeting a Taco Belle because you meet so many people, but if you do, that was me haha). So delighted to hear this again. Thank you!
@@ItsWayMoreThanMusic Yep. Very rarely it seems when it comes to film and musical adaptations do the keys remain the exact same. Mostly because the arrangement itself is being adapted. Or as the music corrdinators say "being updated". I understand what you mean now about Laura's key being easier now that it's been clarified you were referring to Liz.
@@maddiebudner4333 Hello there. According to the official sheet music for the Broadway rendition of Anastasia. This song is an Eb Major. Hope that helps. :)
If Anastasia had kept running, I would have LOVED Laura to play Anya on Broadway after Christy left one day. The role is perfect for her ❤
I'd love to hear her sing Once Upon a December sometime!
I second that emotion
That would be amazing!
I would love that too!!
Oh wow! I made the same comment. 😊
she has the best understanding of her voice. like no matter what, she knows how to adapt it to make her sound like a goddess! love laura 💞
Whoa that was sung clean!
I was thinking the same thing! Most people do not sing this song as effortlessly as she did. SO impressive!
She makes this song sound effortless, good lord that’s AMAZING
Every time Benjamin and Laura collab on something, it’s absolutely incredible. Every single time.
Facts!!!!
Fantastic. Would love to see Christy and Laura perform together someday.
she is such an incredible vocalist

Lol and here I was, thinking perfection doesn't exist. ENTER LAURA OSNES.
😍 Laura is literally incapable of being anything less than wonderful
One of my favourite renditions, my god she sounds wonderful
When the inevitable BPP album comes out, this needs to be on it! Amazing rendition, Benji and Laura!
This woman is everything. She is a goddess.
Love her versions forever
I want Laura For Live Action Anastasia asap
I would LOVE to hear her and Christy Altomare sing something together.
Holy crap. Just as good as Liz Callaway!!
Sounds sooo good, I think the role would fit her
She's just out of this world!
Can Laura please do a recording of the whole Anastasia album! Gosh! What is it that she cant sing absolutely divine?
She sang this so beautifully ❤
Wow! This was so perfect. She’s amazing. I want to hear her sing Once Upon A December.
one of my favourite song and laura sing it beautifully. i just saw her in a movie and she's perfect
I love her version!
I’d love an Anastasia medley with this, once upon a December, and in my dreams
I love Laura, I love Anastasia and this song is beautiful 💙
I hope Disney remakes the film now that they own it. Laura’s voice would be perfect.
UGH NO why would you mess with the film, it's perfect. Maybe a live action.
Nope. It's perfect, and the musical is amazing, too. If they remake it they'll botch it, like they've done every other remake they've tried.
@@bigonbooks4736 The musical was so bad. It removed all the magic and was just lame. When I went, everyone in my section was really disappointed.

The audience isn't actually laughing at her.
@@Joseph-eq5od xD Thanks!
Someone’s cutting onions
Why wasn’t she cast as Anya? She Would have been a perfect Anya!
Omg this key is way easier to sing in!
Compared to the key Liz sings in or Christy's?
@@Silver54ful I didn't know there was a difference between Liz and Christy's but I meant the original, as in Liz's

@@Silver54ful do you happen to know what key this version is in by chance? I suck at identifying key signatures by ear lol

Did they raise the key for her?
Effortless.
A friend pointed out the flapping earrings, and now that is all I can see... swing, swing, swing...
