Mercy! A lot of work! Looking forward to part 2. Great transformation already!
That should be this coming week!!!
@@lawnborder vorher war besser als nachher.
love the "Hop on Pop" tree.... masterful trimming. 🌳
Thank you! 😊
It all needs to go…all the way back to the fence. Personally, I hate walking down a path and bumping into bushes everywhere
It all needs to go back to the fence
😂
Spiders! 🕸️🕷️🕸️👍👍👍👍
I agree....completely against the wall and it shouldn't be anywhere near the clothesline. There was more than enough room to cut it back another 18 inches.

This is a great video, I'm watching it over again.
You did a great job there. Thank you for taking us along.
Your welcome, thanks for watching
this was a heck of a job for one person..... well done 👏 it looks great
WOW, what a difference, it's like the difference between night and day! Excellent job!!! 👍👏🤛
Hi Bev,
Thanks!
Good job restoring the pathways and walkways and cleaning up the overgrowth. Bless you.
If the overgrown plants hit the house, the paint will peel off and shorten the life of the house, so plant maintenance is important.
Hmm. That was a good start. Refinding what the landscape features were/are. Thank you for rescuing the topiary. It looks like power washing or soft washing the walkways would be a good next step for overall looks.
Yes good idea!
I personally liked the overgrown ivy taking over the sidewalk. Kind of beautiful and mysterious.
So many people think that a gardener's day consist of walking up and down with a Lawnmower in the sunshine, if only!! 🙄
Looks like it used to be quite a beautiful property at one time. Thank you for bringing it back to it’s former glory. Excellent job. 🌳🌻
In it’s time I agree, it’s been let go for too long
First time watching your clip. Fantastic choice of name, brilliant. Lawn and border is a great name choice.
Thanks Maike,
I was actually thinking of changing it but I’ll keep thinking glad you enjoyed 👍🏻
Hello from Oregon, U.S. I'm first time watching your clip, too. I'd keep the name as is. What a great job 👏
This is alot of work for one person. This yard came out fantastic. Good for you and thanks for sharing.
Hi Olga,
Your welcome an Thankyou for sharing
Looks so much better!! Thank you! O M G all I could think of in that walkway was "I wonder how many spiders are in there"⁉️ I had a recent bite that took weeks to heal. Kept fearing for your safety as you walked the "corridor of doom". 😳 I'm glad you made it out alive & in one piece.
I love your corridor of doom - I hope your bite has healed now .. I will add more protection! I was pruning a few days after filming this and actually ended up in hospital I had a poisones plant sap hit my eye it’s all good now but it wasn’t a nice time Thankyou for your nice words!
What an amazing job!!! All that work was quite a workout. It's a great transformation and I'm keeping this to see again.
Watch it over and over again! 😂
Beautiful job on the shaping of the tree, takes real talent to shape a tree like that . The whole job was impressive!
Thanks Judy
This clean up was massive! You and that saw were so much fun to watch. Like a Jedi and his light saber! Great job!
Hi Catherine, I love that Jedi an light saber!!! Thanks for watching! 👍
Really enjoyed this episode. This is a lesson to those who are unlucky enough to have English Ivy growing wild as I do. I left it alone during the pandemic and it has taken over. I do have a hatchet!
Get onto that ivy really quick !!! Please !!
Great job! 🎉
That was a great transformation. Completely removing the ivy, rebuilding the wall, and a power wash would top it off.
Then clean the windows.....can't be having dirty windows....
...oh, and creosote the fence...bring it back to life...
Great job, i love how your video is in real time and love how you take your time. Enjoy watch this.
I love all the edging. Nice work mate
Какая красота получилась! Огромный труд! Молодец!
Good bones help with your clean up to see how it will be after you finish. Well done.
Great job, beautiful garden..
Thanks Linda
Lookin good ❤!
Good job!!
Yeah, looks like it needs a whole new retaining wall, and a good clean out. Still a hot mess, but a good start. The green waste was a heap of a load. Not a job I could have handled on my own.
Que lindo , solo necesita podar y la naturaleza lo agradecerá 🍀🌄🌷🌳🌱
Great job, young man!
Thanks Sharon
It's crazy that you did all this by yourself. I would recommend getting a 6x8 tarp. A good tarp is a great partner. Good job tho!
I had a tarp on the trailer too !! Thanks!
Awesomely beautiful results 💯☕️☕️✌🏻
Thanks for watching and comments !
Wow! Who knew that under all these tree branches and leaves was a huge GUM DROP. 🤣🤣
WoW, that ivy was out of control 😱😬😳 Awesome job 💚
Hi jenni,
Yep out of control
Watching from Pakenham vic, great work....
Thank you so much 😀
Looks fantastic.
👍🏻
Those bushes are having a bad hair day! :)
LOL! Great job! ♥
I love that 😂
Great videos you're putting out!!
Hi Cath, Thankyou!
Enjoyed from Texas!
👍🏻
I love to see vines being yanked away!
Awesome work
Thanks
Great tree trimming!
Thank you!
This was very satisfying to watch. From the ugly duckling to the swan
Glad you enjoyed this one!
Off to a good start, I hope the landlord authorizes a more comprehensive clear-out of those neglected plants and grasses. How long would a property have to be neglected to get this out of control? I like that wall-mounted metal frame contraption for air-drying laundry.
A long time!! 2-3 years
I should start selling the clothes lines online to people overseas !
I really enjoyed watching this video....you done a nice tidy up job there...well done :)..i have never seen a washing line like that before and i love it....great idea to put one up against my wall.
I should start selling them to people. They are very common here in Australia
Great video to watch - a bit of all sorts!
It was a bit of all sorts! Thanks Andee 👍🏻
Job well done. Love it. Greetings from Belgium. Dirk.
Thank you! Cheers!
For US viewers:
1/sleeper = railroad tie.
2/Australians still use outdoor clothes drying. Some exclusively.
3/The vine on the clothes line is a Passionfruit.
4/ yes there will be thousdands of spiders in a yard like this, but probably not snakes or sharks. 😂😂😂
I love this 👍🏻
Thank you for the information
👍🏻
You do the kind of work I am unable to do! I'd have cut it all off at the ground next to the fence!! Was some of that ligustrum? I'm allergic to the blooms! That would have been the first to go!! You have great patience and obviously love what you do! You are greatly appreciated for doing the work some of us are unable to do and you have done a wonderful job! Thank you for sharing the first part of a great transformation! Waiting for part 2!!
your welcome thanks for the nice comments
What a mess! You did a beautiful job!
👍🏻
Looks to be a nice piece of real estate. Not sure what your laws are, but stateside, it's generally accepted that you can trim back to your property or fence line. Looked like some of those tree bushes by the wash line were on the neighbors side of the fence
Hi Glenn,
Everything was on this property it could be trimmed harder but I wanted it to look clean
Love the title. Parody of "Law and Order"? After this episode, you could rename it "Raiders of the Lost Walk". You were like an archeologist uncovering the ruins of a lost civilization in the jungle! lol
Those bushes need to be completely removed and then plant something easy to maintain like hostas for instance.
Good thinking there in lowering the wash line.. think the hedge needs to be thinned down a little more as Mother Nature holds back for no one it will grow back so quickly after that cut.. but a good job you’ve done 😊
Muy buen trabajo 👍
Looks great
👍🏻
Nice pruning
Well now you just opened Pandora's BOX with that HUGE mess you made oh oh!!! LOLOL Do you feel like you are swimming in the GREEN SEA??? You are ONE Brave guy for sure...so sorry still laughing. I was sitting her watching this video and actually wished I was there helping to clean up that NIGHTMARE. that is NOT an easy project for sure. A good stiff drink after this job is a great idea or a nice bowl of ice cream LOL. Do you carry hammers and nails I hope?? Other than that you are having a great day Right?? AWESOME cleanup and looks beautiful for sure. Thank you for this fantastic video...time to rest now.
Felicitaciones... ❤️❤️❤️❤️
굿~~속이 다 시원하네요^^

The poor animals that used the overgrown trees, etc as their habitat. I hope you checked for nests and babies.
Normally if I see little ones I’ll stop an leave that branch but it’s not always that easy
@@lawnborder Good. Because sometimes? People don't think of that. And also, always prune/cut the lower and try to leave enough coverage for the bird nest, if there's one. This will protect them from predators and also the weather. I'm an animal lover so I'm always making sure whatever I do outside? I keep them in mind. And not disrupt their habitat or remove it. 😊
Splendid job
Thanks Nancy
Le hizo falta un curso de paisajistas, y será un jardín hermoso.
Just in time... Any longer and it would have been a disaster to clean up.great Job.
Very nice
👍
I loved the ivy
Question, why cut a front line first and not at the top of the cross bar on the little wood fence? Or be brave and start in the complete rear of the hedge?
It’s to bad you could really get into it like you wanted, but you are doing what the client wants. Given what you were given, you did a great job. Look forward to more videos.
Thanks Connie!
The neighbors probably ran out and threw money at this guy for raising their property values back up. What a jungle! And I agree: I would’ve slashed EVERYTHING, pulled up roots, all of it.
I wait for the day next door neighbours run out and throw money at me 😂 I love it ! Thanks Delia ! Have a great day!!
Looks like a lot of work but doing a good job.
Nice...👍👍
👍🏻
Great cleanup. It looks to be a lot of 20 year repair work to be done in some of those beds as those wood bed edging/cribbing were end of life 5+ years ago.
Thanks mike! 👍🏻
I said..oh..oh..you bit off more than you can chew on this one😂😂..but, you pulled it off. It looks really good💕💕
Thank Don! It came up nice
Eres muy bueno en tu trabajo bravo por ti
Bom trabalho🇧🇷
*Congratulation 😎👍.*
Those trees on the side path near the clothesline needed to be severely cut back...
I work as a master gardener and can’t tell you how much English Ivy I’ve torn out. Plus, I’m going to start a club called “Read the Damn Tag” as people plant too close to the house. I torn out a lot of perfectly good plant stock because it was planted in the wrong place.
Haha I agree ! Read the damn tag 😂
🤣 That thumbnail is like, "The ivy is coming! The ivy is coming!"
👍🏻😂
سبحان الله wow beautiful
👍🏻
i dont think people realise how it wrecks the shrubs and bushes when they grow so wild
No your so right !!! There not meant to be so overgrown. originally planted for a nice walk way then over the years of growth it’s just let go then I walk in an see what it was meant to be and NOW what can I do to keep the plants happy and make the property usable without a major makeover
Personally, I would want my “margin” inside the border……. neglected yards should be trimmed back a little more considering they are “neglected”
4:35 that was so good to see. great ...
👌🏼👍
Good start but it all needs to be cut way down .
Yep I agree
Neighbours would be pissed with all those weeds growing over
🔥🔥🔥
42ml of roundup to a litre of water, good-night "IVY" .
84ml round up! That will finish it 😂
happy to see this work . I'm from Indonesia🇮🇩
Welcome! 👍🏻
nice to meet you sir☺️
wow
What a wonderful transformation 🤗
Thanks Rhonda
Смотрю и поражаюсь, до чего ленивые люди, такой мизерный участок и самим можно убрать за пару часов
Trim the weeds make it look like a hedge hahahaa
Should have used chain saw instead of hedge trimmer for most of it
Very good, some power washing reqd I felt
Looks better now. Needs some landscaping maintenance.
I agree
A big job you need a helper & needs to be in fast motion so it’s not drawn out a job well done .
