IT HAPPENED; IT REALLY DID!
During the Van Halen's Monsters of Rock tour, Dokken was part of the line up (along with other bands) at the Miami Orange Bowl (now replaced and long since torn down). During Dokken's session it began to rain hard, most attendees (including some in our group) retreated for cover, but some hardcore fans stay with us (my eldest sister--now decease, and my twin brother and I remained) and continue to rock on as did Dokken.
Then, overhead, the clouds were beginning to swirl like a massive cyclone was forming above us, and the rain showered down harder with each passing minute during this very song of Dokken. When they reached the point of the song singing the chorus "Heaven Sent," they asked those who remained in the stadium to sing with them and help send this storm away. Everyone (including us) began chanting "Heaven Sent" as did Dokken himself pointed at the clouds above, and then, the rain gradually began to subside, and the sun parted the clouds, shining through onto the stage, and it was TOTALLY AWESOME!
As if it was planned and part of the freakin show!
That was the absolute BEST concert experience I ever had--those were the days of Stadium ROCK at its best!

I'm 34 years old and dokken gets lumped in with the hair metal genre but they weren't and arrant a hair band these guys rocked and wrote really killer stuff and with Sharp hooks.
Dokken is a collective masterpiece. Lynch is a guitar GOD. Don is the master of song writing. Pilson and Brown provide the thunder. I have been a fan since they were on vinyl. I saw them them live more then once and I am proud to say that.
Daniel Rios I seen Dokken back in the 90s. Man it was a great show. George was killing the guitar. They are very talented.
FWIW: Pilson wrote a great many of their best songs.

I'm 30, and they are by far my favorite 80s band. My top 3 as of now is, TooL, Dokken, Chevelle, and I'm EXTREMELY PICKY with everything. As a guitar player and music fanatic myself, I must say that Dokken is way too underrated! They are better than Motley and other mainstream bands, but I kinda like it that way. It's almost bitter sweet as if once you get past (and *IF* you get past) the popular mainstream bands and open your musical horizon beyond what just sounds catchy and trendy to just about everyone, you find actual deep in depth *true professional* music that the rest of society just isn't ready for. That great music is Dokken.

Been a fan since '85. Lynch is a BEAST!! Will never be the same without him. Still like the new one but is way more mellow and almost neutered without Lynch. Is Don's vocals and harmonys/songwriting that saves it, Back for the attack is their best and more than still stands up. The new one sounds closer to Tooth and Nail if anything.

The musical composition of this song is Heavenly!.:) However the layout of the tarot cards could have been presented better symbolically to go along with the lyrics. The Justice card would have been appropriate. I like the Wheel of Fortune card on top of the center card. They should have also included the Lovers card to go along with the Tower card, if that's what the top card is.

Dokken was famous for having some of the gayest videos in music history....this one is only marginally less trite than everything else at the time, but this is a very good song as most of dokken is.
