» WHERE IS NEPHI FROM?
I am native to Bacolod City in the Philippines but in the recent years I have been moving and living a lot in different countries like Singapore, Japan and the US due to the nature of my work. I was in the US when I started this channel but I am currently in Indonesia thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
» MUSICAL BACKGROUND
Former band vocalist of Akita performing at K-Pub in Ayala Cebu, Philippines (2019-2020)
Former band vocalist of Big Three Band performing in Yokohama 7, Yokohama, Japan (2014-2016).
Former member of the Filipino Voice Symphony (2010-2011) where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our singing group bagged the "Gold Medal" in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
Former university choir and singing trainer at Technological University of the Philippines Visayas.
» WHAT IS THE GREATER GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.

Hey you guys.. she add lyric 'tenggelemkan kesedihanku, terapungkan kebahagiaan aku!' that is why she is happy because at the end of this songs, Aina Abdul is being pull up.. that means that pull up in Malay is 'terapung'.. when she is terapung she find her happiness.. maybe that is why look kinda happy because at the end she manage to push away all her sorrow, mellow life and be happy..

The symbolism of the set is about a dying tree devoid of nourishment (i.e sun and love), while still be the last one standing among other dead trees. Missing somebody who passed may have the same effect to you. At the end, she was pulled out of the earth, like she was put out of her misery. Last sentence "Aku hanya manusia biasa. " mean I am just an ordinary human, no way am I able to survive this misery, lets put an end to this. Remember she is a tree in this. They purposely make obvious root on her dress to show dramatic effect of a tree pulled out of the earth. What happened if you pull a tree out of the earth? They die. That is her happiness 'kebahagiaan' finally meeting her deceased love one in the afterlife.

The first time I listened to this song, I was like "how do you sing this live" because she stays up there at the high notes range continuously. Only Aina can pull this off. Just like Cikgu Sarah said in her reaction, Aina wrote this song knowing her vocal abilities. It's awesome to see her grow so much into the artist she is now ❤
