@Pendragon1989 alot of GM cars do that...they always have done that on their higher end cars before.like if you look at the vid kyle made of the gray cadillac sls the gauges did that too.i think that they just do it for most or all of their newer cars now,and im pretty shure they do it so u know the gauges are working and probably for syle...but i love how they do that.

I like this car. I also think it could be a coupe model of this, like the BMW Gran turismo, if you look at the shape of the C pillar, it has a coupe shape, you'll know what i mean.

Interior reminds me of a Camaro. The Malibu has a similar look as well.

I was looking into getting the AWD version of this to make it out to our cabin in Minnesota and some parts of the gravel road where it is private is not maintained very well and may have grooves in the ground at some times throughout the year. Do you think this is capable of handling the gravel and more off pavement type driving with some pretty steep hill on the gravel too?
I would recommend a Tahoe or Suburban rather than this for what you intend to do

How tall are you? You look really comfortable in this vehicle but I'm 6'4" so I'm just checking to see if it's a comfortable ride for taller people.

I've noticed something, how come when you start all the newer cars,the Tach, and the speedometer go all the way over and then back, Why does it do that?
It could be when starting up the voltage is at its highest peak which forces the speedometer and the tachometer all the way to the top indicating and recognizing The surge and indicating to the driver that all systems are working to full capacity that is the best answer I have for you at this time and theory and I'm glad you waited 10 years to get that answer because no it's been on your mind
so what about mpg?
@ashton3002 But the range rover SC gets 12/18 mpg >_> And the equinox with AWD and a V6 (which is the least fuel efficient of all the packages) is 16/22mpg. So either you do not know how to drive, or you're not telling the whole truth.
do these roll over on hard turns?
Joe Billard I think of it is a car based platform (What it is built on, like the Tahoe/Surburban/Silverado is Truck Based) you should be fine. Just get to know how it handles at first.
Shouldn't roll over in hard turns if you don't do any, I hope you don't plan on doing it ,try not to do any, cut your speed down, look ahead plan your trip and hopefully a hard turns will never come into your life don't worry about it

Biggest problem with the 2.5 is its useless with awd... transmission can downshift fast enough and it just can get out of its way
Even with FWD this car is inadequate with the 2.4, merging/passing is mediocre, and I heard the transmission is lazy even with the V6, be it the 3.0 or 3.6
nvmd i guess it is a 2011 i only thought it wasn't bc my stepmom has this car in red and the same trim but no touchscreen display so this is a 2011 while my stepmom's equinox is a 2010
