It’s not difficult for us. We Muslims learn all these Arabic names by heart since our childhood. And also listening on our radio and tv channels almost daily in melodious pattern by various performers.
This one was the easiest performs of Atif Aslam as he didn't have to put much effort because this is the melody we have been using since our childhood for 99 names🥰. I remember in high school we always use to recite these names collectively(What we call assembly is practiced in Pk schools which is the first activity we do. We pray to Allah Almighty, then the Naat is recieted, and then the national song and national anthem are sung and then these 99 names)) before attending the first lecture. Feeling Nostaligic😥
You actually pointed out so well that it is so difficult to sing/recite in such a manner when a song does not have a chorus/verse/bridge type parts in it. Usually people think that falsetto/high notes are difficult. But carrying the same melody in a complex manner(as you said a long pattern)but in different styles like highs/lows/soft/powerful singing style(according to the sets of words) is really difficult. Never thought anyone would talk about it like this. These 99 names are in arabic..and yes it is a very artistic language. People do calligraphy in different styles for arabic❤

Understanding that Allah is the Wise and everything happens in His divine wisdom, helps me stay positive even when things don't go as I hoped.
When you realize that Allah is the Controller(Al Qahhar), you stop feeling bad about things you can't change.
Knowing Allah as Al Fattah (the Opener) will encourage you to keep trying, even when it seems like there's no way forward. (The key to success)
And when you learn that Allah is Ever Witnessing, the Bestower and the Humiliator, you will become more mindful of your actions. it will make the believer a better person and do good things.

Brother you got it spot on. This is not really a song. Thus is what is called a "Hamd" (pronounced like 'hum" suffixed by a soft D). It means " A praise of the Almighty". So he is just praising and glorifying Allah.
These 99 names are not random. These are the 99 names derived from the attributes of the Almighty and they are how Allah is referred to in the Quran.
