One of the things YG does is use odd sounds as musical instruments. Blackpink DDDD = hot ember landing in water in Jisoo umbrella scene, dog squeeky toy in Crazy Over You, garage door closing in Shut Down. In this song during Ruka rap they use a Blue Jay screech twice as a musical instrument.

Babymonster is the ONLY 5th gen GG that can make me amazed everytime they released their new songs, and appreciates their previous songs even more. Objectively, Batter Up and Sheesh weren't particularly good songs, but Forever, Like That and Stuck in the Middle are some of the best songs of the year.

On Batter Up and Stuck in the Middle, which they first released, there were only six of them since Ahyeon (the red hair girly in the mv) went on hiatus due to health issues.
When they released Sheesh, that’s when Ahyeon returned. They are back to being seven members again, and it was on April 1, 2024, which they consider their official debut date.
And when Ahyeon came back, they just recorded a version of Batter Up and Stuck in the Middle where Ahyeon was included. That’s why in their first album there is Batter Up (7 ver.) and Stuck in the Middle (7 ver.).

I think the song have a few meanings. And one of them representing them like a big, powerful girl group, very talented, but they will experiment like BlackPink members. This song is different from their other songs and shows that they can do something like this too! It's a little bit scary, but really fun and they hope it will last forever?
