Haram in Arabic basically means dirty or unclean. A lot of Asia is Muslim. People in Philippines, Malaysia Indonesia ect. Even if they don’t speak Arabic they will know that word. That would be my guess why they changed the name. Plus rami just sounds cool.
BTW, Rora is an accomplished cook and baker, and even competed on a cooking contest show. 9:03 ❤👍

Thanks for your great reaction and support as always for BabyMonst7er.. Here for BabyMons7ers! She from my info change because there are a few Haram in the industry. To stand out more she was given a stage name of Rami.
Haram means forbidden in arabic and is a concept in Islam, and as a courtesy to their muslim fans they probably changed it, and Rami as a stage name isn't much different from her nickname anyways. Also she isn't the only one in the group with a stage name, Rora's real name is Lee Da In, Rora being a stage name given by YG
Hello hello Norm! Lots of good answers already about Haram => Rami. Don’t forget her members and mentors often referred to her as Harami even from the beginning, and sometimes calling her just Rami, even way back at the start. In fact, right here @ 6:16 Yang Hyun-suk says “Harami”! So Haram => Rami is really not as drastic as it might seem to some people ❤👍
I hope that YG let them show of more of the girls dancing skill and Rami is underrated in two categories is dance and face expression. But these girl has been trained by YG dancers, also 3 yrs under LeeJun. just to let you know she is legend. She is the top hip-hop dancer and a street women fighter. Plus, BabyMons7er worked to Bada Lee.

I understand that the name "Haram" had a bad connotation in Arabic. The change to Rami was made prior to Batter Up after realizing that there was this negative meaning in another language
her real name is Shin Haram.... Rami is only her stage name

I gave up seeking for bias in this group after watched Last Evaluation series and those behind the scene stuffs. All 7 members has at least one quality in some moments that you must accept you would have fallen for undenyably.
Haram is oposite of halal in islam...it means somthing what you get it whitout your own swet ...like chiting gembling steeling....etc...etc...its not ofensive to us its a just name...for me personaly...lot of love and suport for rami ❤
