I've had a cocker and springer from Dave. Not a Lab but my friend is on his second one from "Dave the Dog", so they must be better than okay. The cocker we had from Dave was absolutely superb. The springer's enthusiasm for life and shooting quietly got me back into shooting.
As for Ollie's comment: "she was born half trained..." As the old saying goes: "Most Labs are born half trained and most spaniels die half trained!"

If you really want a good working Labrador the best way to choose your pup is to watch this twice, back to back, go away and let it sink in then watch it again. Then watch again twenty minutes before going to see your chosen litter. And take note of all points you are given. Look for that tail which sits low and doesn’t curl up. Look at its eyes. This is the most informative, accurate and complete instruction you will find.

My question to you is the puppy that we are looking into bringing home has light eyes. I didn’t quite understand that whole concept on the light versus dark eyes and not being kind. Can someone give me some more information on that please thank you.❤🐾🐾

We have had many labs from Dave over the last 25 yrs, nothing but the best, anything you want to know , just ask him, he knows about dogs, and what you need, to work or as a pet, and both Dave and Andy will bend over to help you

I'd like to know his process on that long Dimon he had in the background. Stuff like this really interests me. 👍

I bought a fox red Labardor with low hip and elbow scores and it dysplasia so I think the KC should shoulders tested as well

Can anyone remember what labradors looked like before they crossed them with whippets?

The lab puppy he's holding in his hands looks sad, and kinda looks old too even though it's still a puppy, aren't puppies supposed to look happy in general?

Thanks for this. When we filmed it, it was sleepy - but it kept wagging its tail. / Charlie

I don’t like bloody great labs, particularly those chocolate coloured things.
