MagnumDB many Olympians are still college kids. Ryan Murphy is the Olympic champ for the 100 and 200 backs, as well as world record holder. He is a senior at Berkeley.

I'm not going to do all of your googling for you but plenty are 16 or under. The youngest is 13, which is the minimum age. There's been scandals for years about how the Chinese are falsifying ages of their gymnasts. Dominique Moceanu was 14 in the 1996 olympics and won a ton of stuff. There was a 13 year old Nepalese girl in the 2016 Olympics in swimming actually. 14 is uncommon but hardly unheard of - 15 and 16 are far more common. Edit: I'll admit that "many" was a stretch for 14, but definitely 15 and 16.
