Welcome to Israelhvac's CZcams Channel. On this channel i bring you along on HVAC Service calls, HVAC Maintenance and pretty much anything else HVAC related. Enjoy and thanks for watching.
Its crazy to me that people would still want to just fill a 27 year old system that clearly has a leak without any diagnoses of leak etc. What did you charge her for the the call and did you get a call back (how many days later) when all the refrigerant leaked back out? Lady, its 27 years old you got your moneys worth out of that system its time for an upgrade.
Hey thanks for sharing cool video! Have you worked with R-422B or NU22 as they would call it? I’ve used it and works great as a replacement. I run into a lot of those old units in my area and people just avoid purchasing new ones for some reason and want to continue fixing them and milking as much as they can out of them. I have my small business and need to look into the refinancing and how it works. I sure as heck need to start making money this year selling them new units.
You’ll make lots more money with those helpers and your customers will love the fact your not trying to sell them a new unit. Always recommend new, then repair the unit.. some companies refuse to work on junk and loose out on lots of money, and get badmouthed to boot.
First of all as a technician your comment “the subcool is a little high” means you’re lacking some knowledge in this industry, your subcool should never exceed 15°. I appreciate you making the video but I’m disappointed. As an instructor I feel like you need to take some more classes and understand the dynamic relationship between your superheat and subcooling and what that should be telling you. Also I noticed you changed your refrigerant from NU90 back to R22. I normally wouldn’t say anything but you made a public video so you put yourself into the spotlight. Younger less experienced technicians take everything you say as fact, and if they have a high subcooling situation to them it won’t mean anything because it didn’t mean anything to you. It screams a specific problem to me and is an opportunity to move the customer into a new unit one that won’t fail. Can you technician equipped with the proper knowledge of the customer not spend money recharging your system that has a glaring problem.
I didn't see you check for leaks, pull a vacuum or change the filter drier.... I'm pretty sure if that compressor wasn't screwed already, you just pushed it to the breaking point!

I have a easy solution for you stop fucking watching my videos. Because I honestly don’t give a shit what you think
I seen Dave’s video on the field piece compared to the testos and fieldpiece blows them out with the connectivity range
Would be nice if you can get a video of that old sucker defrosting!!!!
Your high side is way too high, your low side is also too low.... address that problem....
the problem is the age of the equipment , a condenser coil clean is the first step
Do you have to use the job link deal to get that range ? Thanks I’m thinking about ordering a set
I might have to pick me up a set... Do you like these better, or the Sporlan Pro/R's?
I think it actually said on there website that the amp would work on the new model iPhones or updated iPhone.
Where do you place the psychrometers?
Wherever you want, check delta T at furnace

There's no mandate to do anything unless the unit has 50lbs!!
While I agree that the system should be repaired/replaced, making statements like that to pressure the customer is fraud.
Show up at my house saying something like that and you would get a ear full!
@@cdavisultrakc4351 they must have changed the law bc he’s right about the situation
