- Fishing for Gummy Shark in the South Channel of Port Phillip Bay has got to be one of my favourite forms of fishing. Soaking baits in deep water never knowing what lurks down there. Every now and again you can end up with a big Gummy for your efforts

The problem chasing gummys is getting through the by catch especially down there same in WP by catch is a pain but the gummys seem to come out a little more
It was relentless on the first day. Keen to give them a crack in WP too, just got a bit addicted to the south channel after my big one last year😂
@@AdzFishing that’s how it starts you catch one and one another one 😂 wp you’ll find them 6-7kg mixed in with the good 3s and 5s then out of no where you’ll get the 20 plus come and the addiction grows

How do you find the 60 yammy? What’s the fuel economy like
Love it no issues what so ever, economy is unreal compared to the old 2 stroke. That day roughly 16 nautical miles at full throttle took about 10 litres if that.
