- Alu chop is also called as aloo bonda. It is a very popular and easy deep fried snack recipe in all over India. But in this video , I have shown you the typical Odisha style aalu chop which is without onion and garlic. So that you can make and enjoy it during any festivals also. So, watch , try and enjoy this delicious snack dish with tomato sauce or green chutney.
Ingredients:
1. Boiled potato - 3
2. Gram flour / Besan - 1.5 cup or take as required
3. Chopped green chili - 1
4. Finely chopped coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
5. Peanut - 2 tbsp
6. Boiled yellow peas - 1 tbsp
7. Panch phoron / Pancha phutana - 1/4 tsp
8. Turmeric powder - 1 tbsp
9. Red chili powder - 1 tbsp
10. Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
11. Salt as per taste
12. Baking soda / cooking soda - 1/4 tsp
13. Water for making the batter
14. Oil for frying aalu chop
