Great advice! My physio told me good leg leads both up and down stairs? I’m 5 days in to a right THR, will look to move to the next phase of 2 crutch walking, letting my good leg go beyond my surgery leg!
The top of the crutch can be lower than the elbow as there is not alot of pressure there anyway, as long as the hand grip is in the right place- hope that helps :)

So is it comfy with the top of the crutch is so high to the elbow?
