I wouldn't mind moving to Spain and enjoy helping out these wonderful people on this show. I speak Spanish and I am a hard worker. I wouldn't mind working on the farm because I love animals 🙂
With so many cafs offering burger, chips and salad for around 4-6 Euros, Paula's prizes seems a bit high. Also, I think it's a shame with the decor inside. It's very white and bare, and, well, just bare. If I was seeking shelter from the rain I would get instantly attracted to a place that looked warm and cosy.
I thought she was showing her storage space in the cellar 😮 Windowless room with black metal chairs, planks against the wall, a random piece of ugly fabric hanging from the ceiling and bare walls?? Who on Earth would want to sit there?
Although a sanctuary and rescue centre is absolutely wonderful, a love of animals and a huge heart are simply not enough. There needs to be a great amount of money behind you and a solid volunteer and paid staff to take over if anything happens to the owners, as in the case of Susan’s husband. She’s trying to run the place with the help of one other guy who’s also running around collecting furniture! The future of all those animals is at stake.
