FLY FISHING Urban Ponds Catching Everything That Bites

Getting on BASS and panfish with the fly rod turned out for a big fun day of fishing. Fishing mid Spring is the best time to put on multi species and catching fresh fish coming off of spawn or just looking for food. I made a day of it by hitting these urban ponds morning and evening.

I don’t fly fish as often as I would like. It’s great once you get the hang of it. I typically do a trip each fall for the salmon run and use fly gear.
