- In this video we install Fuel Moto's BMF air filter element into our 2022 Street Bob 114. Fuel Moto states that this filter has 90% better air flow and better filtration over Harley Davidson Stock OEM air filter for their Ventilator air filter.

Thank you! I went through 10 videos to find someone who could show me what I was looking for, thank you!! Exactly what I was trying to find out.
Glad it helped!!! Thanks for watching
I've got the Arlen Ness Big Sucker version of the oval. As far as better air flow and "Stage-1" performance, I don't know why someone hasn't been able to compare all these filters on a flow bench. The flow bench won't lie.
THX, will be looking into this for my bobber...
Definite like those spacers better than the plastic spacers from Ness.
Look at DK customs for their external breather. Works for a lot of applications
Will do! thanks!
reminder here, use a medium grade lock tight on the extenders and the air cleaner screws .
Good update.
I'm going to do breather kit too.
Watching from New Zealand
Good idea! New Zeland is in the building!! Thank you for stopping by!
Nice install vid man! I'd put some blue thread locker on those spacers myself. Wicked paranoid about what can vibrate loose into a throttle body.
Thanks dude! I did go back with loctite. Yeah whatever can vibrate right off will at some point LOL.
Thanks for this video ! I will try to find it for my Heritage 114ci of 2018.

I ordered the air filter and am waiting to receive it. Thank you for the link and the tutorial ! Ride safe and fun !
Glad I could help! Let me know how you like it.
You are on a roll 🔥
Have the same bike and just fitted the arlen ness big sucker version, i havent took it for a test ride as its raining heavily here in the uk, do you notice a different in engine running or any thing else, i got it to go with my v&h big radius exhaust
I actually have that on my road king. Do you have a tune for it too? that's where you'll feel it most in my opinon.
@WeRide2 I have an fp4 which I tuned the v&h big radius exhaust, will I need to retune for filter
Great video man! Definitely considering this for my Bob when I go stage 2 since it still flows a lot but way cheaper than other intakes. I'm curious, how do you like those mini floor boards over stock pegs? It seems you may actually have better lean angle with those.
Thank you! The floorboards are great, but they're not very grippy so I would be aware of that...Way more comfortable than the stock pegs though..
@@WeRide2 I was thinking about that haha. Do your feet tend to slide off?
No but with the wrong sneakers on it feels slippery. Not terrible as running sneakers and boots work fine. Just noticeable when I wear certain basketball sneakers like the Jordan 1s...
@@WeRide2 Awesome man thanks I may have to look into those!
I wish they made that filter kit for a 2015 limited cvo
Looks like a K&N filter is your only option if you use the stock Air Cleaner.
Good video thanks
Good info! Thanks
Thanks for stopping by!
Just wondering if you noticed any performance boost? At least by seat of the pants.
I would say yes a little... But it could just be in my head lol. It's one of those things where you'll see the most gains in conjunction with other performance mods like a good pipe and tune.
is the extra distance uncomfortable for having your knee out more? Would I need to remap fuel? I already have a PV from Fuel Moto. Is there a vent kit available?
No so far its not uncomfortable. I don't believe a remap is necessary but it'll probably help if you get an updated tune from Fuel Moto. No vent kit that I'm aware of specifically designed for this.
Can you tell any difference in power or sound going from standard filter to this one?
A little... It's not going to blow you away and make you say wow, but its future proof in that you'll see the most gains with the addition of other performance parts.
what adapter did you get for those floorboards? Or was it a direct install?
Direct install
You did not double your air flow. Unless you are running big numbers, you literally upgraded for the looks only. Once the motor reaches its max air it pulls in, the air filter wont push any extra in. 😂😂
Well I'm going by what fuel moto advertised.. over 90% more flow...

@WeRide2 I'm not denying thier claim. What I'm saying is if you are already running a basic stage 1 like a screaming eagle, arlen ness big sucker, DK customs etc.. etc.. a bigger air filter past that is no benefit. Unless you are running a monster engine that goes past the limits of a basic stage 1. Which is a decent size engine. We are talking head work, big bore, big cam,4500 rpm + engines here. Not digging on your channel. Just throwing some info out. Good job on your channel, keep it up.
No harm no foul, I'm def not an expert in these things and my only measuring stick was my butt dyno which like I said I can't say that I felt the difference. Stage 2 should be complete in the next month or two along with bigger intake manifold, throttle body and injectors and at least then I'll have some Dyno numbers. Thank you for the feedback, I'm always trying to educate myself more and that's my goal for this page, to have a place we can all share our experiences with these bikes and products and learn from each other. Stay safe out there my friend!
Do you have a link to the rain sock?
