The “previous coach” got 11 points from 11, you managed 1 from 4. Two relegations in your last 2 jobs 👍
Even a very good goal keeper would have struggled having the worst defence in the prem in front of him as well as a dodgy midfield.
Managers sacked, goalkeepers dropped and Ayling still in the team!
Did you watch the games
The midfield didnt look at all dodgy when adams was playing
The defence made him flap at dozens of crosses and stand off his line against Everton
The club has been run by clowns. New owners, New DOF, New manager and a New squad needed. Change needed from top to bottom. Ps ty for trying Sam
Hard to make something out of that team. Solid midfield and attack. But the defending and an unreliable goalkeeper. Some time in the championship will be good for the team
As a Leeds fan he’s a good shot stopper but everything else is bang average.
Did he see any videos of Robin Koch prior to joining?!
And yet he kept playing Luke Ayling!
And bamford
Yes, but what other good option did he have? Rasmus? I don’t think so.
@@professor62 ramus never played as bad as some of ayling defending, ramus is better defender but ayling is far superior with the ball
@@lightninggornall That’s a very debatable point, Scott, about Rasmus being a better defender. But can we agree that we desperately need someone better than both of them at right back?
@@professor62 Ayling, Bamford and messlier were the 3main players who cost us the most points this season at either ends, that sequence of ayling games when he was at fault for about 6goals in 6games, rasmus never reached that level of defending, we do need better but there are not that many better in the championship I'm afraid, drameh could be better than both
Correct decision…. But woeful choices in other games
Big Sam shows himself up when he says he'd blame himself if he kept playing Meslier. He wasn't prepared to take responsibility for playing Meslier even though he was the best goalkeeper at the club. I thought he could handle Leeds but he proved why he's never had a big job.
makes me laugh thar you think Leeds is a big job
@@Matthew-bu7fg it is a big job. It needs a Champions League level manager to be successful at Leeds.
So why didn't you drop bamford same lots of mistakes and his confidence was gone
Pity he could drop the whole team
The defense was the problem (a MAJOR problem), not so much the keeper. I think Sam should have stuck with Meslier, he is a far better keeper that Robles IN MY OPINION.
But Big Sam only had a VERY short time at Leeds. No-one, not even Pep would have been able to save Leeds from the drop.
conceded far too many goals.
Our defence definitely were an issue but mes made many mistakes this season personal errors and that’s not down to defenders yes he saved us some games but other shots were going by him far too easy not blaming mes but on mes and Robles Robles better for me more commanding more vocal much stronger presence I think if your judging there all round game Robles is better and his experience showed.
@@JamieLowe-xp1le so why has he been a number 2 most of his career?
@@clivet3252 logically I’d assume there were better keepers ahead of him😂😂 but I’m not talking about his career I simply giving my opinion that I’d have him over mes. Mes showed a lot more vulnerabilities than Robles has I’ll be fair in we’ve only seen Robles in 4-5 games maybe if he was played more he’s make mistakes but mes became very flappy how many times has he patted crosses down right to an opposing player this season and they score from it mes I do believe will go onto be better then Robles but he’s young and clearly has a hell of a lot to learn
@@JamieLowe-xp1le well why was he behind Meslier all season? Why was Meslier linked with top clubs? I think Meslier lost his confidence when Bielsa left. I think he was told not to play out from the back and he was probably told not to come for crosses, too. With a young goalkeeper you give them confidence and allow them to make mistakes.
Sam was weak to drop him. He gave in to pressure from the media. Even when he was making mistakes he was still making great saves. He probably didn't make any more mistakes than De Gea or Allison but they didn't get dropped. People get more nervous and desperate in a relegation battle. It's why managers get sacked. But if he's the best goalkeeper you play him. Robles may have not made any obvious mistakes but results certainly didn't improve and you don't know what difference Meslier could have made with his ability to make exceptional saves.
Couldn’t stop a beach ball… Sam made the right call imo.
@@tombennett9790 did you think it was the right call to sack Bielsa
No, it was the right choice. I saw Joel for like 5 years at Everton and whilst he's not that good he's still better than Meslier.
@@tombennett9790Have you seen the Liverpool game in Oct 2022 ?
Allardyce is a fraud. Corrupted geezer stuck in the 80s
Should have dropped the whole team
Pathetic defending. Simple
