Please tell me one think how to select all brushes quickly to copy in solid layer..

buenas man, la imagen de los timbales la podrias poner, porque no atino con otros jajaj
Love your tutorials, they're easily and clearly explained and you seem to be very helpful. My one problem though with this tutorial was when I pressed " Paint on Transparent," it still made the video black. I made sure to make the brush RGBA and also made sure to paint on the appropriate layer. Do you have a fix? It would be appreciated. I saw a previous thread but I didn't understand the instructions.
Thank you! If you followed the steps, the black could be ok. Switch over from the Layer Window (where you drew the lines) back to the Composition Window. If you did everything correct, the layer that you drew on should now have a transparent background. If you place any layer beneath it, you'll be able to see it.
@@cmdelavega HI, I have the same issue except that when I turn OFF "paint on Transparent" the whole screen fills with the new colour rather that just the painted sections. Same for glow or any other effect.... RGBA active on all channels and the layers are arranged correctly. Any help would be awesome!
@@RedLukey Paint on Transparent option should be checked (enable) and not unchecked (off). Did you set the RGBA before you painted? Are you switching back to the Composition Window?
@@cmdelavega Ahhh I was not switching to the Composition Window! That has fixed it for me. Thanks for the quick response!
@@cmdelavega Thanks for the quick response and fix man! Love your stuff and keep doing what you love you doing!
no entiendo ingles pero muy bueno
hello I like your work well, I have a problem my scribe effect is too fast on my body its going too fast, how to make it be fluid thank you
A trick to slow it down is to make the same line/drawing every two frames. Example, frame 1 and 2 is the same line, frame 3 and 4 is the next line, and so on.
@@cmdelavega
Thank you very much, but do me what I want to do I think it is with the saber effect, look at the link of the clip that I am going to put from 0.16 seconds to 0.20 seconds. help me do the same . czcams.com/video/k57W2dE7x6I/video.html
how can scribble a moving superhero cape i have been searching on someone
I would take a video with a moving cape. Use it as a reference and perhaps draw several frames and make it loop. I'm oversimplifying but the main point is to always get references. A video would be tremendous. Search here on youtube or maybe film yourself with phone just to have that reference. Hope this helps!
I have a problem, I wanna make a logo, so i have an image, followed ur instructions everything was fine until I got to the stroke part, I key framed the end as shown in the vid but when I press play the image nothing shows, its just a black screen, help me please
In the properties for the stroke effect, the last option "paint style" switch to transparent. Hope this helps.
How did you upload the picture on the after affects!!!! Please answer me!
Hi Myles! I don't quite understand your question. Are you trying to import an image?
C.M. de la VEGA ya because when I do it and use the pin tool to trace around it the rest of the image is cut out for some reason?
Why does my time indicator show â01f, 02fâ ? How can I change it back to seconds? I canât do step 5:31 because the seconds arenât listed
Ctrl click on the timecode to switch between frames and seconds. See if that helps.
â@@cmdelavega Thank you for replying! I tried that but it didn't work. I ended up having to close that composition and redoing a new one. Thank you!
Hi! I also comented on your other video about the problem when you click on "paint on transparent" and you told me to watch this video but I still get the same problem and I did everything you said. I still get a black screen on my layers.
Export or save your AE project for CC 2018 and send me the AE project file to admin@schoolofmotiongraphics.com and I'll take a look.
C.M. de la VEGA... yeah, I think what everybody is talking about, is on the layer Junito, itâs black. I believe everybody has the neon effects on Composition. Do we still need to use the Layer Junito anymore or are we just going to start painting on the composition?
Blin Zeli... I just went through a lot of different variations. The problem really happens when you go to composition and then you go to effect > generate > and fill. If you go back to the Layer regardless if you toggle *Paint* *on* *Transparent* off, you will end up with an entire window with either black or one solid color. Iâm not sure how to fix that. You might just want to skip the step where he says to do the fill.
@@s.e.productions6882 it is critical that one selects Paint on Transparent before you start painting/drawing. You can fix it afterwards, but it's more complicated.
@@s.e.productions6882 it is black because it's on the Layer Window which only shows what's on that specific layer. You can toggle Transparency Grid to see if there's transparent background. If Transparency Grid button is off the default is black background.
Hi you are a chef man đ
i try to do the glow but the glow goes on the entire vid
same i have the problem for a while, i think the problem is for people who have the 2019 version
@@arnav4958 In after effects if you click the "Window" menu drop down and make sure the paint panel is checked. Then when you use the brush, in the paint panel next to Duration make sure "Single Frame" is selected. Then the paint effect is only applied to individual frames.
My problem is when I export the video , it only show the effects on one layer, I need help please!!! How I make the effects on both layers when I finish?
Do you have the layer solo? Are you paint layers on top of your footage?
AG21films I had the same problem. Make sure âpaint on transparentâ is checked on all layers
podrås ponerlo en español porfavor please
when I make my mask stroke paint "On Transparent" the screen turns black
another problem tracking doesn't work for me it doesn't show the option mask track when I right click on the mouse. Thanks
Did you set the channels to RGBA in the paint panel? For tracking, you need to select the footage or a copy of the footage and make a mask. Once you make a mask, you should be able to right click and choose track mask.
Thank you very much!! It was totally fixed
How u make Hula Hoop?
Hula hoop was drawn frame by frame. It was a tedious process.
Subelo en español por favor! (L)
How do I make it dissolve at the end?
Not sure I understand correctly, send me a timecode of the video so I can see exactly what you're referring to. You can always dissolve by keyframing the opacity of any layer. If that layer has a paint effect and you keyframe opacity, you'll make a dissolve.
18:24 when the wonder women dissolved away. Iâm sorry Iâm so new at this your tutorial helped me a lot but when I had the auto tracing on my video but I dont know how to make it disappear in a not choppy way. I have no idea how to key frame
can you rotate it? at 11:31? if not how it is?
Yes! Since it's a layer you can rotate or modify scale, position, opacity. Use the keyboard shortcut W to access rotate tool.
Thanks a lot!!
how did you deleted mask path of all?? 3:54 I can do this work only one by one mask click ă ă
When I add the generator effect to fill my whole video turns to that colour ...
Before you paint, you need to set the channels to RGBA and after you paint, in the Effects Panel, check on the option "paint on transparent"

for after effects not so important:) but you will need a good cpu and 16gb ram or even more:)
@@JohnAmaro_Official how can i animate like blotter media..any suggestion for that type of animation?
@@randomashh6986 yes follow the steps on this video.. if you have after effects and a fast pc/mac you dont need anything else;)
@@JohnAmaro_Official I have hp i5..4GB RAM..so its work better?
Hello! I already tried your method on fixing the "paint on transparent" problem, I already set all the channels to RGBA and the background still black. Can you help me?
Did you paint on a duplicate copy of the video clip or painted on the original clip?
I painted on the duplicate of the video clip
If you still need help, send me just the AE project to admin@schoolofmotiongraphics.com and I'll take a look.
@@cmdelavega okayy thanks for your helpp
@@davinemuliauwan8930 Just sent you an email. Check it out. Fix was easy. In Layer Window, go down to View dropdown box and switch to None. That should work.
