You don’t need to turn your car off and back on to turn the headlights off. You literally just switch the lil knob to off. Also took me a year to find this out, if you don’t press the brake and double press the start button; you turn just the battery on without starting the engine.
Yes with the newer models now you can just turn the lights to off while the vehicle is in park. The light will come back on once the vehicle is out of park. American Honda has changed things up on the newer models compared to the older year models. Thank you for watching
Hi, I just got a 2024 Civic Hatchback Sport Touring. Is the Driver Information Interface Screen the same for my vehicle or is it just 2022. I am embarrassed to say I am a 76 year old female and not very techie. I am hoping that these tips will help me. However if the Info interface is different between vehicle years I might not get the info I need. Right now I am thinking I made a big mistake buying this vehicle. Even locking the doors and hatch was a learning curve. OMG, I just found out there are more women than me asking questions. How Good is that. Thanks for listening.

I have a 24 sport and want to see if there’s a way to have the parking brake set automatically when I shut off the car. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn’t. What’s the trick?
The only way I think that it may do it is if you use your brake hold features. It pretty much holds onto brake when you are completely stop and then only releases when you apply onto the gas peddle. So when you unbuckle while the Brake Hold is enable, it automatically engage your parking brake or E-Brake. Other then that I haven't seen a setting to adjust for this situation.

had a car 4 years and learned I had fog lights and stereo adjustments on back of the steering wheel. was a VW, which I'll never buy again.

Just bought a 2024 Honda civic hatchback sport. Whenever I press the trunk remote on the key fob, it doesn’t open. Anybody know why?
@Andrew-ug5ke yes because it's not a powered trunk. The button is to unlock the hatch/trunk only while keeping the doors locked.
How can I turn off my drl’s while I drive. I hate that somebody can see me coming a mile away with these drls always on 😢

It takes 2-3 weeks to ship cars. With NYC being a sh/t hole, probably expect 4-5 weeks

It just unlocks the hatch while keeping the other doors locked.
can you disable the DRLs and the Keyless Entry like in my Charger's uconnect?
You may turn off the DRLs when parked, but not while driving. You may also change the setting for the keyless entry. Thank you for watching
