"low budget" is being nice. that move was made with the budget of $400,000! i just learned this myself and was shocked! and it made $5,000,000 back! and this has to be with inflation cause jeez is that alot of cash! and that's not even counting all the money it still gets now a days. they still show it in cinemas now a days. saw it last year at a near by small theater that does still plays movies like this from time to time. it was a blast and i've seen it many times.

i like watching your reactions! I've seen many other reaction channels but yours is the only one I come back to constantly! One of my favourite python scene was "every sperm is sacred"...I use to sing that in the hallways in high school....I also was voted most stoned....I'm now a straight ultra runner but I still love the song!

The social commentary is clever and hilarious.

You need to check out Cleese's Eulogy for Graham Chapman (both Pythons). True comedy gold.

This and Life of Brian are the two best comedy movies ever made. For me they're the best two movies ever, any genre.
I would recommend clips but honestly I think you are spoiling it for yourself. You should watch Holy Grail and Life of Brian from start to finish.
Their series (Flying Circus) is a lot more hit and miss. Some good sketches but definitely not worth watching it all. Same with Meaning of Life (that Mr. Creosote is from).

Probably the most iconic Monty Python scene, not just in the film but overall. Also from memory I think the coconuts were meant as a nod to old radio plays as that was how they simulated horses galloping in them.

I'm so glad you did more of Monty Python. The crew that's still alive are still hailed today as being GOATs for comedy. You need to watch the whole movie of Holy Grail and Life of Brian. You need to watch the scene when Brian is running from his followers, that shit ishilarious!

The People's Front of Judea, from Life Brian. Alternatively, The Spanish Inquisition from Monty Python’s Flying Circus. Most Brits can quote these scenes like a call and response prayer even people born long after the show finished. It's great when a total stranger in a meeting or out and about quote Python and you reply or vice versa. it's a sign you have met a kindred spirit.
